000-000-0000

I have a feeling that this is a number concocted up by telemarketers using some kind of VoIP system - I know whenever I use Skype to make a call some strange numbers show up on the call display... Whatever it is these Telemarkers (SCAM ARTISTS) are a pain in the butt!

The caller ID says 1000000000. I cruised through the websites and found a site that shows, none other then, 1000000000 embedded into some software code from phpGroupWare.

I have been receiving phone calls from 202-505-0000 all hours of the day but no one leaves a message.  It is starting to make me crazy  and wonder who this number belongs to.  The only thing I know is area code 202 is from the District of Colombia.

I received 4 phone calls from 000-000-0000 and two from 414-208-1038. I finally answered the all zeros number, and the guy asked fo me by named. He then said something about a rebate for my Visa. I replied that if their was a problem with my Visa then I would contact them. He replied that ther wasnt a problem, so I asked for his name and # and told him I would call back later and he hung up! Im glad I found this first before I answered the call. Very sketchy!

I got a call from 000-000-0000 this very minute, but I don't answer calls from such BS numbers. I just hopped straight onto the interwebz to look the number up, and here I am. They didn't leave a message, but didn't hang up on the answering machine either. Screw 'em. Right in the eye with a brick.

When I got a call from the 000-000-0000 I was confused when I answered and no one said anything.  I have recieved this call about 3 other times.  I found this website and read a review regarding blockbuster..well hell..I did have late movies and I returned them and never got the call again..so it must be blockbuster.

ID showed 000-000-0000, I answered, fellow asked if a Sarah worked here. I told him know. He apologized and hung-up. A few minutes later, same fellow called again with same caller-ID. Again, he asked if he could speak with Miss ?(not Sarah). I told him that he had called a few minutes before, and that he was calling a back-line to a law office. He apologized, and asked what kind of law we did. I hung up w/o answering.  He did not call back. This happened  yesterday, 24 April 07.

His voice was American accent, mid-west (no drawl, pleasant- I figured he was a telemarketer.)  Submitting this just to add to the data-base.

I have been getting this number on my cell phone and also on my home number as well and I do not answer it. Beware they will continue to call everyday.

I get calls from 000-000-0000 and as someone other people have stated when I get them it is just blockbuster telling me to return my movies.

This guy was relentless. He tells me I won some groceries and some free gas for using my credit card for an online purchase. Funny I don't use this particular card for anything but to pay for storage rental. So, I asked what did I buy and he said "something" and I said what? He just kept telling me I was a preferred customer and something or other. He said I just needed to "verify" my card number to pay the $2.50 to get my free groceries and gas. Scammer. I told him no thanks, I don't need free groceries or gas. He kept calling for about a week after that, either from 0000000000 or from 1-000-000-0000. Freak. He called on both my cell phone and my home phone. I did not answer and he finally stopped calling.

After numerous times of 0000000000 calling my cell phone, I answered it asking (or rather shouting angrily) "who the hell is this and what do you want?"  A woman's voice asked what did I say and I repeated it. The caller hung up and hasn't call back again.

I receive calls from this # quite often, my husband owes a CC company the balance left and a collection company uses it to hide their number when they call, weird, so i dont think its something that just telemarketers are using, I think that someone is marketing to companies that make many phone calls and offering them a service to "block" their # so they dont get disconnected if it shows "private" or its blocked....trixies, arent they?
