I get these call everyday.  Last week I just lost it with the person ont he other end of the phone and requested they stop calling me. Today they gave me a number to put in when I went to the website they gave me - I thought I would do anything to stop these calls.  Evidently, I'm not the only person getting them.  This is a real pain in the NECK, because I can't make them stop!

WHY the hell would he feds need to tap all your phones? Unless you're actually in some big criminal activity(s) and smoking pot dosent warrant a warrant to tap your phones. If you were joking thats fine, but if you were actually serious aboot the "feds" then you havent been taking your meds.

peace out

I have been recieving at least 3-4 of these phone calls for the past week. I have been rejecting them as they are calling my cell phone. Only yesterday and today did I finally answer them. But not with my quaint nice tone as I just told them really loud to stop. 9-19-08
The two numbers that have been showing up are: 1-000-000-0000 and recently 0000000000. No other info. comes through.

I've been getting these calls for years now.
I discovered there is a website called spoofcard that helps anyone to do this. I will provide a list of how many times the superintendent of 178 may have done this to me, soon.

The number with all 0's has called all week about 10 times a day, once every hour.  I answered, she said she is from the democratic party and wants to do a survey.  I told her to stop calling this number, she claims she'll NOTE it, I'll probably hear back from this # in another hour.

This loser calls a few times daily, so annoying.  The caller never speaks, but in the background are people talking with heavy Indian or Pakistani type accents...........

I hate phone sales people, in a BIG way, but these callers that either just hang up.  if I answer , they say nothing, and just listen. If I don’t answer they leave me a blank 2 minute voicemail, and fill up my memory, so i end up missing my business and personal calls because when the 20 mins of message space sprint gives me gets full, my desired callers get the message my ", and cant leave me a message mailbox is full"

000-000-0000, is a spoofed/ VOIP number the caller sets as his caller id.  So I think its actually a few different people, not just a single loser caller.

I wish I could block calls from the number, but i dont have the ability to do so on my cell..

CONTRARY to what I read from some other people who logged this number, 000-000-0000, is not Canada, or anywhere else, its a spoofed number.

The government should pass a law that makes the phone and cell manufacturers develop the functionality to block any loser caller the owner of the cell or landline phone they own can block these types of incoming calls from losers.  This should become a standard spec, but in developing this functionality.  They must insure that no other similar phone numbers, incoming don’t get blocked.

Just got a phone call with this number, didnt answer it because...well, for obvious reasons. They actually left a message, looking for me. I was confused as hell. Called back at the number that was given to me...

Apparently, a company called Convergys uses this number too. Any way, they wanted to hire me. I dont exactly recall having applied to the company, but given I've put in a ton of online apps, so I dont remember any of the names. I didnt like the fact that they called with a spoofed number and the fact that the guy who left the message spoke REALLY fast and garbled the company's name. Think of me what you will, but I turned it down because of that.
Caller: Convergys, this time

I got a call from this number at 6:55 PM. Either Spoofcard, TeleSpoof or one of these spoofing websites could be responsable for this call.
First, you hit one of these websites. Then you enter your phone #. Then you enter the phone # you want to call. Then you enter the phone # you want to appear on the CID of the person you're calling. I know this because it has been happening frequently to all my friends. We have been researching this latest fad, which is really quite old. A group of people in the downtown area of Ottawa, think that it may be a crooked superintendent that lives and manipulates tenants at 178 Nepean St. and has no conscience. Judging by the look of the building he supposidly cares for (compared to all the other well cared for buildings in the area), the rummors appear to be true that all this man does is play on his computer. If it is this man preparing these type of calls to be sent to people in this area, we believe this should should stop. We may be mistaken, but we believe it to be a superintendent who calls himself Nelson J. Cashen. He would know all about this stuff because he claims to be a website reseller and has his name and false educational credits pasted all over the internet.
