Another call from this number.  And another complaint to the FTC.  They really need to make the Do Not Call list applicable to everyone...  If we all just filed their online complaint form every time a number called, maybe they would actually do something about it.  I file one every time, doesn't take that much time to do so!!!

In most cases your phone number is not new, it is recycled. Meaning, someone had your phone number in the past. The only way to be sure your phone number hasn't been used before, is to ask the local phone company to provide a number that hasn't been provided to someone in the past. Which now a days is difficult to do.

Got over ten calls from this number. I answered two times but no one responds.

I called Alltel about the problem and they blocked the number from calling me.  Out of curiosity I asked if all phone companies could do that and they said yes.  I hope this helps somebody.

I have been getting 000-000-0000 calls with no one answering.  I was thinking that it is used to see if the receipant is home to answer the telemarketers call, say to save them from wasting time.  But thanks for the good imput I'll not waste my time answering any more.

000-000-0000 Started to call my house line on my B-DAY and still i get the call dayly. I have court case coming up and the unmarked cars in my subdivition have more than doubbled. Im freaked out WHAT is going on someone with a real answer plz tell me.

im recieving calls that are 000-000-0000 and whenever i answer them no one speaks, but hangs up. they never leave a message and have been doing this for a couple days now. they called me like 5 times yesterday and just did! i wish it would stop..

I have received several calls from this "000-000-0000". Everytime I answered the phone it would be dead silence then they would hang up.  I've called my phone company they have no idea who/what it is.  They tell me that it may be a telemarketer call, as far as I know I did not know telemarketers called after 9:00 p.m. This was the last straw, I have to be at work at 6:00 a.m. I received a call at 9:59 p.m. & it woke me up, well thanks to the person that does not have anything else better to do, I did not get back to sleep until around 11:30 p.m.  Thanks "000-000-0000" for calling me at that hour only to sit on the phone & not say anything & then hang up.  If anyone from this "000" is reading this PLEASE, PLEASE TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST. I have been told that I call trace the call through my local police department, hate to say it but this IS MY NEXT STEP!!!

The above number called a few minutes ago, was a recording claiming to be an automated survey, and I would receive two tickets for a Bahama's cruise after I finished the 'survey.  Kept pushing me to press "1" on my phone to continue, I didn't and it disconnected.

you can block it out. I came home today and the number was on my phone. I live in Canada. As long as it is the last number to call you can just #01# instead of punching in the numbers, it worked for me hope it works for you.

Rec'd yet another junk marketing ph call from 000-000-0000 at 12:52 pm. We don't answer these types of junk ph calls. No msg left. No surprise there. Call #9.

Just like anthony with gmac, it is most likely a bill collector hoping you will answer since you already know the number of the collector. I get the call too but ignore it. They call my office as well as my cell phone back to back after I do not answer it. So I know it is someone who has my numbers. It is garbage!

I have been plagued with calls from this bogus 000-000-0000 number for months. They never leave a message and even blocking the number (auto-hangup) doesn't give them a hint.  There has to be a way to get people like to take a long walk off a short pier because I'm getting truly ticked off about it.

This number keeps calling me now too, and there are a hundred different reasons it could be happening to everybody.  it's basically just someone hiding their real number, and there are lots of reasons to do that.  To the people who owe money, it's your fault, pay the money you promised to pay, but some of us are just innocent targets of people trying to steal our identity or property with questions.  And then there is always the wannabe hacker kid who is bored and wants to annoy people, which I don't mind, I think it's kind of funny.
