I get this 1-000-000-0000 on my cell from time to time, but it looks so obviously deceptive that I never answer, but let the call go to voice message. They never leave a message, for which I am grateful.

Just got a call from this number, was about CC and asked that I push 1 if interested in lower interest rates on CC.
When I pushed 1, I said I don't know who you are and the lady asked do you have Visa or Master Card ... I replied, 'yes'
Her next question was, 'Do you currently owe a balance of more than $3000.00?" ... I said, "No" and then was told to disregard this call.

Very strange, even if the call would have continued, I would not trust the people on the other end with any other information.

I get a call periodically from this number. I finally answered it and it was an automated call from our local blockbuster notifying us we had forgotten to put a dvd back in one of the cases. I checked and it was true, but I still didn't like the idea that they had used an untraceable number to call.

Why would they disguise their number? It just doesn't make any sense and companies that do this upset me because it feels very deceitful.

Received a phone call from 000-000-0000 - most suspicious looking at 12:05 PM, C.S.T. Picked up the phone - just listened - never even so much as said hello - static and noise at the other end. I hung up.

I have just received 6 phone calls today from 000-000-0480.  Four were hang ups, and the last two calls were answered by my son. He said that upon answering our phone, he just heard some voices in the background and static; but no "hello", etc...  Annoying and suspicious, as we rarely get calls to our home number.

Received a phone call from 000-000-0000  today around 1PM EST and again at 5PM EST and the second call I could hear heavy breathing and then a funny loud 'pinging' mechanical sound and then a dial tone.
Probably telemarketers from outside the USA, but if it's telemarketers WITHIN the US then they better watch their a**es because I am on the Natl. DO-NOT-CALL registry!

Just got a call from this number they said they were VG Services and said they had the last 4 digits of my credit card. I asked how they got that info and she said that I ordered something from one of their partners. I said they better not have my credit info. She assured me she only had the last 4 digits. I asked why the number showed up like that. That is when she hung up!

My friend got a call from that number too. I was with her when she showed me. She told me that she either answered it or that it was in her messages and said that there was screaming in the background. Her boyfriend was with her and that time and he and I are thinking that it's just a prank call

every other day we got a call from this 000000000 # but havent got one lately. They would call up asking for my boyfriend by name, and when i would say no and ask who was calling, they would say "ok thank u" and hang up. Another time they called and all i said was "who's calling" the girl would not tell me then after a couple of times of asking her, she finally said, "amy". i ask 'amy from where?' she said 'from ....(long pause)... a friend?' obviously it was a company because i heard people on the phone in the backround and phones ringing.
How do i find out where they are calling from since it says unkown ? they would call every 2 hours at exactly the 17th minute!!

ive been receiving a call from this number for 2 days now! they just called me again like 2 min ago. I have never answered it cause ive heard about people using BS numbers asking for someone and the next thing you know they send you a bill of like 2,000$ for that one call! they did leave a voicemail once but it wasnt anybody it was jusy some weird noises in the backround...so if you have the same problem just ignore the call to be on the safe side!

Rec'd ph call from these idiots - [000-000-0000] - at 7:03 PM, C.S.T., did not answer, allowed it to dump into voice jail. No voice jail message left. About once a week I get this number on the display. I would delight in feeding these people directly to a shark tank, and enjoying their screams and anguish--considering the pain they represent to the rest of us!

I've gotten this a number of times. They seem to call for a couple of days, then nothing for months. I got one this morning ("unknown number" on my Caller ID), no message on the machine. However, flipping thru my IDs, yesterday's call from My Dead CIA Blockbuster Telemarketers, I saw the following on my list:

1-000-000-0000
V07270852340006

Those are Zeroes, BTW, not Oscars. I don't know if that additional information helps anyone. I know I'm getting rather cheesed because sometimes the calls come in while I'm asleep, and then I can't get back down.

At 5:06 pm received yet another phone call from - [000-000-0000] - yet one of many in an ongoing string. Because I was in the middle of something I didn't get to posting this until 6:41 PM, C.S.T.

I have been harassed from this phone number for over 2+ years, and I would go to court to testify to that fact! Or, at least permit me justifiable homicide as these scam artists and scum bags hide their identities, because they know what they are doing will fall apart under pure white light.

The two line display came up as:

000-000-0000
----------------

The lower row had a bunch of dashes in it. I would suspect they have managed to break into one of AT&T’s Definity phone switches and perhaps are relaying thru someone else’s phone switch with an obvious spoofed phone number. If you “Google” that number, there are a whole string of complaints.

I am also on the DNC list but have been receiving calls almost nightly on my home phone - the caller id just says "000-000-0000".  They were relentless so I finally started picking up just so I could find out who they were.  "Star vacations of San Diego" - yeah right! and all of them had accents!  I demanded to be removed from their call lists, even asked for a supervisor a couple of times.  They just put another telemarketer on the line who gave me a phoney name and call back number.  How the hell do we stop this??

At 11:11 AM received yet another phone call from - [000-000-0000] - yet one of many in an ongoing string. I got to reporting this a few minutes at later at 11:16 AM, C.S.T.

I have been harassed from this phone number for over 2+ years, and I would go to court to testify to that fact! Or, at least permit me justifiable homicide as these scam artists and scum bags hide their identities, because they know what they are doing will fall apart under pure white light.

I now automatically pick up, wait a moment - and then hang up. Screw the idiot at the other end. Anyone hiding behind this number is a sleaze-ball.
