000-003-8383

This is the number listed on a cell phone bill from Verizon.. Anybody know who this is? They sent a text to another member on my plan and I'm desperate to know the answer, please help!

I wanna know who's texting from this  number 000-003-8383

Its from texting from an email acct...you put a phone number @vtext.com ( for Verizon numbers) and when they send it it shows on the account as those odd numbers....

Problem is, this isn't a valid number, meaning it's been spoofed

For example 000-003-4838. I have found that this is the number that post on your Verizon bill when receiving a text from a bank with a verification code to log in. Or one showed 000 number posted on my bill and it was from the shoe company DSW sending me a text message offer. At first thought is was something specious, but makes sense to me now.

Why would a bank or a shoe store text from a non-existent phone number?
