called and hung up

Call and hung up no matter how fast I answer. Called 10 times yesterday and 2 times so far today

Same thing. Nobody there

I spoke with a guy who said he was calling from the US Grant Dept in Washington.  Heavy Indian accent.  told me I was randomly selected to receive a $7500 grant because I had not claimed bankruptcy, been late on bills and had no criminal history.  the grant could be used for anything and did not have to be repaid.  just had to give him my SS # and d.o.b.......

yess! I keep missing the call because it rings twice; i answered today and some man named "Ian Smith" (with a heavy heavy Indian accent) asked for my name, and said he was with the US Grant Department, "ok?" and I said "ok…" and he hung up. I'm getting a little irritated because even though I've blocked the number I keep getting called. Sounds like a big old hoax to me.

YAHOO free money BS its a scam how do I block the calls?  

Same issues as above. No answer. I want to know how they got my cell number. I don't give it out!

I just got the same call. Told him I did not have access to a Western Union, Bank or credit cards. Just because it was obviously bogus. He asked, "you dont want $7500?". I replied, "donate it to children instead. Better yet give me your contact information so I can pass it along to charities for you, to help you out......"CLICK" from his end.

Called 6 times today on cell. No idea how they got this number. Will not stop calling.

I am so tired of getting calls from this number. When I pick up the phone, it hangs up. This is foolishness.

Received 3 calls from this number today.  How can I put a stop to it?

Yep, this number called 5 times today. Finally a female with a heavy Indian accent stated the same as above about US Grant money....then followed up with "you might be wondering why you were selected to receive this grant money right about now right?" Needless to say, I followed up with an explicative you. Then they hung up. I am so tired of these scam calls all the time!

3 calls today.  Offered me $11000.  Government only takes money from those financially responsible.  Person had an Indian accent.

Called three times today, I am not going to answer because I don't want an international call on my cell bill.

5 calls today. Answered one but no one there.

called me, hung up after they asked for me and I said "who is this?"

Called earlier today. I didn't answer. Have also gotten 2 calls since then that say no caller ID so I suspect it is them.
