Carol - 10 May 2008I received an unwanted call to my mobile phone from this particular number (1-000-050-0000) Saturday afternoon 10 May 2008 at 12:30 P.MP. Eastern Standard Time. I answered the call and got no response. After a couple of seconds the caller just hung up. So, I went ahead and goggled this number and got to this site. I hope the information I just reported helps in detecting any suspicious patterns involving this unknown number.

jkhdskjfh - 12 May 2008This happened to me today. I had a number call my cell that showed up as 0000500000. Nobody answered right away but I could hear them in the background. The man finally answered and said "hello. do you speak Arabic?" I said "what?", and he asked again. When I said no he hung up. I talked to Verizon, my carrier, who said that it was an international number but they cannot track it. If you get this call you should call your local FBI office and report it or go to the FBI website where you can report suspicious activity. Here is the link:

Tina - 5 Jun 2008So i recieved a kind of disturbing call from thsi number and wouldn't mind knowing who sent it. they called... it was a muffled voice and they said hello, hello.. i said hello back.. and they said my name, then i was liek " may i ask who's speaking" then they said my name again and asked if i was horny. I hung up immediately. ANyone know how i can find out who this creeper was?! Because they knw my name, thats the wierd thing right?!?

sha - 10 May 2008The same happened to me. They keep on calling and when i pick up saying something about morocco. I have a bad feeling about the number so I don't answer anymore but then they leave a voicemail message and it's all static.

bbfk - 10 May 2008the personne who called probably uses a OOVOO program (it's like MSN) via internet. indeed, this program allows call from anywhere, using internet, to USA and CANADA for free, till 13 of may.
So you have nothing to worry about . the personne could be a friend who is trying to call u using this program. But the problem is that he communication is sometimes bad (distortion of voice).

all that the joker have to do , is to dial a regional code, following by any numbers... it s like a gamble somehow...
But as i said ...the calls will stop the may 13th ...no more free calls after this date will be allowed .

Yassmine - 17 May 2008How interesting. I got this call for the first time yesterday afternoon and let it go to VM, but they left no message. My husband is from Morocco, so we often get Arabic speakers and calls from Morocco. If they call again Ill answer it and see if it's someone my husband knows from back home and post the results here.

may be just some jokers (or just kids)who is picking out number phones at random, and try to make some friends from north america using OOVOO program.
just don't answer if you want, but there is nothing to worry about.
All you have to do , is to be patient till the periode of free call expires ... in the 13 of may ().

lots of static background noise, sounds like small children too, and then someone left me a message all garbled the second time with some profanity.
