I received an unwanted call to my mobile phone from this particular number (1-000-050-0000) Saturday afternoon 10 May 2008 at 12:30 P.MP. Eastern Standard Time. I answered the call and got no response. After a couple of seconds the caller just hung up. So, I went ahead and goggled this number and got to this site. I hope the information I just reported helps in detecting any suspicious patterns involving this unknown number.

the personne who called probably uses a OOVOO program  (it's like MSN) via internet. indeed, this program allows call from anywhere, using internet, to USA and CANADA for free, till 13 of may.
So you have nothing to worry about . the personne could be a friend who is trying to call u using this program. But the problem is that he communication is sometimes bad (distortion of voice).
hope my replay answered to you questions.

    ok
may be just some jokers (or just kids)who is picking out number phones at random,  and try to make some friends from north america using OOVOO program.
just don't answer if you want, but there is nothing to worry about.
All you have to do , is to be patient till the periode of free call expires ... in the 13 of may ().

    keep smilling :)

This morning he called again but he left a message saying i miss you , i miss you. His voice sounded familiar probably is someone trying to make a bad joke on me.

no way to stop it ... sorry
all that the joker have to do , is to dial a regional code, following by any numbers... it s like a gamble somehow...

But as i said ...the calls will stop the may 13th ...no more free calls after this date will be allowed .

This happened to me today.  I had a number call my cell that showed up as 0000500000.  Nobody answered right away but I could hear them in the background.  The man finally answered and said "hello.  do you speak Arabic?"  I said "what?", and he asked again.  When I said no he hung up.  I talked to Verizon, my carrier, who said that it was an international number but they cannot track it.  If you get this call you should call your local FBI office and report it or go to the FBI website where you can report suspicious activity. probably hackers of some sort..people can do anything these days...nothing to worry about unless they call and tell you they are coming to your house...then you have the right to do something more than notify someone

Two calls received 05/16/2008 around 0716 PST on my AT&T cell phone.
The first in foreign language, one or two adult males speaking and acting jovial but I couldn't understand.  I asked what they wanted, then when they kept messing around I hung up.
They called back, I put them on speaker so a colleague could listen, they spoke english this time, strong middle eastern accent, sounded in early twenties.  I asked again politely what they wanted, they started using profanities, I remained silent then they started saying "Americans suck" etc. and "F*** you".  Interesting since I don't have an American accent.  It gave me the chills none the less, so I logged it on the FBI tips site that another user provided on this site.
