Just wondering if you ever figured out what this # is? I am seeing multiples of this # and others like it on our cell phone bill....under my husband's # and I have been reading that it can be from IM chats, emails sent as text messages, or communications from dating websites.  Am looking for validation on this.

I think it is a porn thing

This number is from a phishing (meaning, they fish for your information) company in India that is looking to either steal your credit card information or likewise. They claim they are from Microsoft virus control or another credit card company, but they fail to realize this is not how we work in the US. They typically ask for your info to scam you. Just ignore them and eventually they go away. If you feel brave, talk to them and tell them you are on the registered "Do Not Call" list and will press charges if they continue calling or contacting you. Technology has only given these people a better outlet to steal from us, don't let them win! (P.S. It's not Porn. to the girl who thinks her boyfriend is into something bad, he probably isn't and you're just paranoid of a cheater. Be strong in yourself to either let things go, let him have something or move on so someone who can love all of him and be in his life. Stop snooping...if you think he's cheating, leave him or ask him, otherwise stop your brain from this madness and grow up!) Good luck everyone!

This number is a reply from friend finders - men seeking women.  It is a dating/escort service.  I know this because my soon to be ex-husband was getting them and I started tracking his calls/emails/texts to find out what was going on.  If it is coming to your husband/boyfriends number - kick his butt to the curb!!!!

It's not a dating website it's Microsoft Xbox you fools. They may have bought a game and then have their cell phone set up through xbox as verification to purchase such items.

My husband has been receiving texts from this number too. I know he's been on these sites and agree that it is indeed a sex chat/hookup site. :'( I'm on to him tho...

This is a text message (short code) from friend finder website, it's a hook up site ..Google it.
I know because my husband receives messages from this number. They usually only come through really early inthe morning, like 3:00am, or while he's at work. I'm letting him bury himself in the hole he's digging..there are a ton of these hook up sites and he's on quite a few of them. Disgusting really..who knows where these people have been !
Ladies, if your man is receiving short code texts like this one..and can't or won't explain it to you..ditch him !!
