Call came from Classynfine.friend-only.org. Have NO idea. Received two texts from same number on 6/17, 10:20am

K Z - 19 Jun 2008My mom just called me, and told me she got the same message from the same number as all of these posts. We too live in WI and are US Cell users. This is a bunch of crap that people do this. The name seems to vary a bit, but same message other than that. My mom got one from miss_Pickles522. From how many I have seen on this website, I feel there is enough people being harassed by this to place a formal complaint. As one of the posts stated, calling the cops might be the best way to solve this problem. If we do not put a stop to this now, eventually it will be a plague of spammers on cellphones. They already hit our emails, snail mail, and land line phones... is there nothing sacred left in this world?

Chickenlitle - 20 Jul 2008I called Verizon on the unwatned text when somone sent me 50 text in one day on a Sunday. This is when I didnt have free text and it cost me $5. I couldnt stop the text. They told me my only option was to turn off text or change my number. So one spam msg isn't bad. But yes something needs to be done before the "bad guys" start doing this all the time.
