Jim - 4 Apr 2008I got 2 texts from 000-111-4444 saying that they got my number from a friend of thiers and I needed to go to miss_ Pickles522.friendspod.net to veiw a picture of them but nothing came up concerning this user name. I have tracfone????

Raven - 18 Jun 2008Yeah, I'm from U.S. Cell, and I've recieved two. Um, so does everybody's start out as the whole "your friend gave me your number" crap and then get into the threatening/icky stuff? Because I'm a minor too, and I'm not one of those stupid teenagers that gives her number out online so I wanna know how somebody got my number...

eggy - 4 Aug 2008when someone sends a text message using the us cellular website, instead of his/her cell phone, that is the number that shows up. it also shows up when us cellular customer service sends text messages with info about tone room and/or other promotions. as long as you know what cellular carrier a person has, you can use that provider's website to send a text message (e.g. if you don't want to pay the cost of sending a text message and/or go over your text message plan's allotment for the month). try it sometime and see.

cass - 7 Apr 2008I got two texts from shadysweetie witht the same time and date stamp claiming a friend gave them my number and that they bet i won't recognize them and then telling me to go to friendpile.org which isn't a real site, there is an about friendpile.org which basically describes it as a way to cheat without getting caught. I am not intereasted in this and don't appreciate it. Seems like some hoax.

catdish - 19 Apr 2008i keep getting messages too, but they said, "see you at the bacholors party," and the most recent one i've got is,,,"Hey, i got your number from a friend of mine, but i bet you can't guess who i am! my username'ssweet_tease, if you wanna come see if you recognize me online, at sweet_tease.friendpile.org Well, hope to see you soon!" there's no friendpile.org, it goes striaght to friendjungle and when i googled friendpile-guess what site showed up. this one. amagine that.
