He showed them to me,phone number *999-999-9999. She [It]? said her name was kinky0909.match-pit.net. Messages were similar to everyone elses,got your number from a friend,WHATEVER. I also googled it and came across the same site "friendjungle.com". I went even further, made up a faux e-mail address, joined for free and looked her up. To my amazement, there was a picture of her with some background, 25, sexy body, from Waterloo, in college taking a communications course and so on. From her page you can send an e-mail which I did and waited for response. Nothing yet,hmmm. Then I wanted to know what she would get on her end sooo, another faux e-mail address being me, joined for free, sent e-mail from one to the other, logged on with other and "WOW", 1 new e-mail. Tried to open it and screen pops up and wants me to upgrade my membership, giving my pay pal and credit card info before I could read it. WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP. This should seriously be looked into.

Received it in 2 parts, and now after being brought to this, when searching for some source (text message had no reply location), I too am gonna look into whether I've been charged for this text message, which would not only have been applied once, but twice since it was sent over two pages... no?
My provider is Telus in Ontario. It must be affecting customers cross the country (CAN), when considering a prior posting had mentioned Alberta as their location. Would be nice to get some kind of notice from our provider(s?) Is it just Telus customers? Regardless, a little heads up from the service company as soon as they became aware of the possible customer volume affected would have been good business practice! (hint,hint... if anyone from Telus is reading) Wouldn't have been enlightened if I hadn't sought out what the ?!#&@... Thanks for the info!

clc - 19 Mar 2008If you are on the telus network in Canada, call Telus and report a complaint. They will put you through to someone who will make a complaint report & give you a ticket #. They are saying the police are involved so the more complaints the better. Something is seriously wrong with people these days!!!

pist_off - 23 Mar 2008Hey I thought I would not be charged either but these text are considered Premium Texts it will come up on you bill under that headline and they could cost you any price. I was receiving some guess this quiz and I had no idea who they were so I did not reply. I ended up with $30.00 in charges, $2.00 a text even though I did not reply. Telus said they would give me a credit for 1/2 the amount. I was also told to reply and text the message STOP and that should end the message. Also call Telus to complaine and you should get a credit back.
