chris - 29 Mar 2008It's chris yet again...i last posted that i was on hold with telus. here is the outcome to the situation with telus. they told me that it had been a previous issue, that it was a spam text being delivered to a series of numbers at a time for instance...if your number started with 818 and you in 905 area code..it would send it to every phone number from 818 to 878 or what ever it goes up to in that 800 series.
So he told me that it didn't affect pay as u go customers or regular accounts, just mike accounts. So i told him that was wrong becuz i was pay as you go. So hence being put on hold.
He came back to say that he apologized, that it was an ongoing thing, even with the mike accounts, that it wasn't cleared up like he had thought. That they are doing their best to overcome the problem. I asked how it affects accounts, and he said becuz its an incoming text, telus users don't get charged for them.
So everyone, rest at ease..tell ur boyfriends or girlfriends your not cheating, show them this forum, and just ignore the texts in the meantime, as annoying as they are.

LateNM - 29 Mar 2008I am F***king pissed!!! My wife who is very ill with crohns and colitis, read the message from Kinky0909 yesterday as my phone was on the charger. She assumed I was having an affair and walked out on me. She will now end up back in the hospital with a bowl attack. My in-laws now hate me big time. So today, I go see the only buddy that has my cell number. As I was about to punch him out, he explained he's been having the same problem and showed me this web site. Problem is, my in-law's won't let me get to wife or won't listen to me about the site. I have emailed them the link and everything, but no reply. The thing is, we decided awhile ago to cut our home phone and go cell phones only to avoid telemarketers, spams and scams and now we have it all back again at twice the cost......TRUST ME!! I'M GOING TO MAKE TELLUS PAY FOR THIS BIG F**KING TIME!!!!!!!
