Are most people that are getting these msgs on telus?

Hey guys I just called Telus and told her about the msg. Half way through reading it the Customer Service agent already new what I was talking about. She said that eventually all Telus client will end up getting this msg. She said that it’s a spam msg and they have gotten the police involved. All the tickets for this msg have been logged and when you get this msg you’re not going to be charged for it. Just like me I’m sure most of you got the msg and thought “who the hell is this freak stalking me” ..so annoying…

I have a teeenager who has been getting these texts and this is not right going to contact the police and better business bureau, cause if this is a dating site

I get this msg on my phone. "Hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can't guess who I am! My name's 2cute4u94, if you wanna come see if you recognize me online, at 2cute4u94.love-only.com well, hope to see you soon!


Quite frankly I don't give A F*&% who you are, all I can say is Piss off!!!

I also got this text msg saying how their got my digit from a freind. It scarry me out 4 fact i came to search for it and i foud out that am not the only one getting does crap.

I received the Text saying that they got my # from a friend yesterday at approx. 5:30pm and I had to look up who the person was. Never heard of them before. Please let us know if there is going to be anthing done about this person(s) that are doing this??

I have received the same calls!  Very disturbing.  My friend who is a Telecom Attorney, advised that I should file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission - fccinfo@fcc.gov or phone 888-225-5322 or 888-835-5322 (TTY).  Since there is no area code associated with the number, it is a Federal issue.  Please call and report these people or person!

I got a similar text message this morning on my way into work.  I have a daughter who I've not heard from for almost a year, and don't know where she is.  I thought this might be her texting me, but I couldn't check it out until I got home just now.  Then I found your website here.  So I spent the day being anxious and hopeful and worried all for nothing.  What is it with people who have so much time on their hands they have to spend it messing with other people's lives?

Man i keep getting these texts to from call back number 6245 at like 8:00. I complained to Telus and they said that these people are getting out numbers from telus contacts online I finally got my name blocked on the list so if u want to do that go to Telus Mobility.comunder contact lists........It is really fast to do it to I would advise it to anyone who is getting pissed off from this.....

whats up all,we're in AB. both my wife and myself get the same texts on our telus phones.Getting annoyed.Hope they get it figured soon.Got one once from telus about my bill,was from same number(6245)maybe theres more to it than telus is telling us!!!Watch out!

They're probably just doing the same thing people do with email sometimes.  If you respond trying to find out who it is or whathaveyou, then they know you're number is valid and gets to an actual phone.  THEN the spam really starts.

Best advice is the same here as for email.  Just don't respond.  Let your provider know, certainly, but don't try and get in touch with the sender as this is just what they want.  The very BEST thing I ever saw was an option in Apple's "Mail" which is part of the OS that gave you the ability to 'bounce' an unwanted email back to the sender such that they would think the email doesn't even exist.  Cut down on spam tremendously.  Thank you Mr. Jobs.

IHAVE ALSO RECEIVED text mails from2cute4u94.date-trip.net  So what gives makes every thing seem pointless. My wife freeks on me because of somebodies stupid idea of a joke!!

I received a message from this person, saying they got my # from a friend, & if I wanted to know who it was to go to this website.....anyways no idea who this is or how they got my # but I am ignorning the text.

I'm not sure what this is about, but I also receive a text about getting my number from a friend. what's going on
