000-310-7429

Got a call from 000-310-7429  3 minutes ago, they did not left any message.
Like what they have done, it is a new number of auto-dial out system, which is trying to make sure your numbers are available in order to scam you out of your saving.

I got this call yesterday. They asked for me by first name, when I asked who it was they said Jay. I asked what are you calling about? He said " shaw cable ". I told him he was full of [***], and hung up on him. When a company calls there are quality standards such as - you introduce yourself then the company name and then you ask for the person you are calling for.

000 is an invalid US area code so the calling number is spoofed. The caller is not a legit telemarketer and has hostile intentions.

Just got a call from the same number but missed the caller. No message left.

I do know that the 310 is used by a lot of companies as a generic call in line that routes you to there nearest retail center. Pizza place are a great example. Pizza huts number was something like 310-0310. It doesn't require the use of an area code in areas that have 10 digit dialing.

The 7429 part sounds familiar as it was the last numbers in the direct dialing number for Shaw Cable's tech dispatch center in Victoria, BC. It is possible that you had a call from their office if you had an appointment scheduled and they were trying to reach you, but like someone said, they should have introduced themselves.

If anyone does actually answer the call, let us know.

Just received a call from 000-310-7429. I thought it was highly suspicious but there was a person on the other end. It was about shaw cable and how i got this TV service for free. The call itself did not seem suspicious, but the number was enough so that i went online to see what i can find. And i found this. I can't understand where 000 could come from.

We have Shaw internet service.
No voice or anything.
Tried calling back and only heard my own voice echoed back at me.
BF tried to call, but got "Unable to complete your call" message.
Hmmmm...

I got a call from this number no message was left and I'm on the national do not call list. Odds are it is malicious.

yeah, its shaw cable, they called me too, and I didn't answer it, but In Alberta 310 is reserved for corporate biz, like Enamx Direct Energy, shaw , and others, sometimes if you call 310-#### it still works despite us having different area codes, so bottom line 000-(Your area code, Regina, BC , ALberta) 310-7(S)4(h)2(a)9(w) = 310 - SHAW , I think they are checking what time you usally answer the phone so that they will tel-market you. good luck

I don't have shaw and I just received a call from the same number.  So I would say its just a scam.

This number phoned me last night @ 8pm, and again tonight @6:30.  I havent answered because those numbers creep me out.  Im in Alberta.

Recently, this number has begun calling me at random times during the afternoon and sometimes even early morning.  They never leave a message.  (Calgary)

For the last 2-3 months, this very strange and suspicious number has been calling at invervals of twice weekly -- usually in the daytime.  It's so disgusting!  Never answered it but, instead, cut it off.  The '000' area code is just invalid in North America!!!  The calling number is just spoofed!

I have received a few calls from this # but did not answer. Both have been in the late afternoon and early evening. No message and not able to call back.

Received a call from this number twice now.

On the first call, after 6pm yesterday, I hit "ignore" and the call went to voicemail. I didn't expect a message, but sure enough they left one. From listening to the call it sounded like someone pocket dialed me, I attempted to make out distinct voices to people I knew and could not.

Today I picked up the call (around 6:30pm) but did not make a sound (in attempt to hang up for the "telemarketer delay"). It sounded like no body was there, and I hung up.

SUSPICIOUS. The next call I will be asking questions.
