- DTThis number keeps popping up on my caller id. They called FOUR TIMES between 8 and 9 am today alone.
Any ideas? Obviously a bogus ID tag. - concerned1Call came in at 9/28/07 at 8:13pm MST.
Asked for someone here. I asked his name and he responsed "Robert Young".
When asked what company he quickly said he would call back later and hung up. - ArkieAlso received a call with charge of $1.79
- shootistHave received calls at least once a day for the past week at my work number. Have not answered due to the fact that it has no valid area code and the 555-1212 is not recognized or referencable to any person/business. Should the FTC be notified?

- Garah| 1 replyI don't have voicemail, but this number randomly got applied to my voicemail number.
Said I had 48 messages. Called it, not sure of what it was, thinking maybe voicemail was added on for some reason - Basically was answered with an automated message saying "Dial 0 to talk to the operator; For emergencies, hang up and dial 911"
At this point, I'm not sure if any charges were applied.- Caller: TBayTel
- Sarah replies to GarahI'm with Tbaytel too and have recently been having this problem. I get a text message from "Voice Mail" with the number 000 555 12 12 and my Voicemail icon appears (first time I've ever seen this?). When I check my voicemail there's no message and when I call the number it says something about 911. I hope Tbaytel figures this out...
- LaLa Con AnswersHello all...
Your concerns for this number is great and yet I can only comment on my own experience and knowledge with AT&T, it's one I can validate. To begin I will not tell you where I get my info only that I see this number alot.
Are you familiar with 411 or 800.FREE411 on your AT&T bill it can also be labled as "directory assistance" and charge you $1.99 per use in most cases. These services are not FREE for the call but charge per min may apply and do not have fine print to tell you the least.
In other cases I am said to believe by many AT&T customers that when using this service not long after does (could be days or weeks) a person call you back we like to call the person a telemarketer. Once you call and use the services you have now opened your number up to this number 000.555.1212 for there own purpose (whatever that may be).
In the end, don't use the service it only causes more problems. For the person who has the iPhone and anyone else with a smartphone, you are an idiot for callin 411 you have no purpose for the simple fact you have the Internet...you pay for it... so use it! Everyone else good luck and for everyone reading this I hope I have helped you answer your questions and concerns. - vani am with tbaytel too and keep getting a voicemail but i dont even have voicemail!!

- Gordon BrooksI keep receiving a voice mail message but no message. This happens 6-10 times each day. The voice mail details state only the 9 digit number. I erase the 'Message" icon and shortly another message is signalled on my phone only to have it be one of these bothersome voicemails.
- Caller: Unknown
- KristyFor over a week now I have been getting 32 supposed voice messages 5-10 times/day. I do not have voice mail. My phone keeps shutting off without me doing so & everytime I turn it on I get the same message..yup I have 32 more voice messages. If I dial the number it says it's out of service, most of the time this happens accidentally. Looks like I'll be paying over $20/day if TBAYTEL doesn't figure out what the hell this BS is.
