Missed call from this number.  Cannot ring back: "recorded phone company message".

This number has been ringing at odd hours of the day and night, not leaving any message.  So far they have called 10 times over the last few days. As I'm suspicious of the number I have not attempted to call back.  I'm in Western Australia.

I just got a phone call from this number and I freaked out because the number looked really bizarre so I didn't answer and googled it ASAP. How strange...

Yes, I missed a call from this number too...I'm in Melbourne...what do ya do?

Get regular calls from this number. Normally late at night. Have tried to call back - but get a reply that the service is not in existance.

My girlfriend just got a call from this number, we didn't answer in time. I googled it and got here, then it rang again, and when she picked up, it was her mum calling from overseas (we're in Australia too). Her mother used her landline too, not sure why this number showed up. Usually the number is withheld when she calls from her landline overseas to the mobile.

Maybe it's one of those random numbers people can connect too when calling internationally, like when using Skype to make international calls, it shows up as a random number when you call mobiles..... Maybe scammers use this too... Just guessing though..

I me too got missed call from this number today,13/02/2009.4:30pm no idea who it is,Im in melbourne.very strange,,,

i got this number call me 4 times over th epast few days and either side of when this number came up on my caller ID the same person /background noise rang from a private number. Strange to say the least.
i know it doesn't help but i am glad i am not the only one because that means it is not personal.

I have received numerous calls from this number & at similiar times a missed call from a private number.  It was quite annoying but I am glad I am not the only one. I tried to answer & it ust cut out.  Very strange

IT IS A GENERIC NUMBER.

WHEN MY BOYFRIEND CALLS FROM A LANDLINE IN MALAYSIA IF I DONT ANSWER.. THIS NUMBER COMES UP.....

It's a generic number used when you recieve a call from someone overseas and they use a payphone/call card/ etc.

I got a call from 0011 976 000 tonight at 8.25pm. It started with a recorded message in an American accent: "Congratulations. You have been randomly selected ... ". I didn't hear any more as I hung up at that point. I also added the number to my Selective Call Reject list - it's a service, for a small monthly fee, provided by Optus and probably other service providers as well. It allows you to block calls from up to 30 numbers, including those that don't display the calling number.

Is yilmaz-20@hotmail.com legitimate? I have seen him on another chat site with the same message. Why can't you provide us with what you know here on this forum as I'm sure everyone would like to know.
