A week ago, I saw a pop up add that I won a free HP Pavilion Notebook.  Today, I received 2 calls; one from 001-701-8370760 and the other was only 6 digits 110-710.  

I'm really ticked that I started this free offer and had a zillion questions and then I didn't complete the offer.  Well, I'm really ticked since I don't ever complete these offers - since nothing is ever free, right?  So, I got back to my senses when I kept on getting page after page after page of vendor listings.  I printed a copy of the offer in case it would later get me... and sure enough it did.  The website was from yourgiftpro.com.  

Oh, wait... I also had 2 other calls today and 616-980-2285 is also listed on 800notes.com

I've been getting a lot of these phone calls too .it's very weird .it's a woman. she left a voice mail but, I couldn't understand it. all I know it wasn't english  0017018370

Got an incomming call... seen the caller ID number 0017018370758.
Looked to be bogus!
Answering machine picked up and no one spoke...

I've been on the DNC list since it started!

HOW IRRITATING!!!!!

I think this is from overseas.  I started receiving the calls after I registered for a Home Make over.  They needed a phone to contact if you won.  I should have realized that this was a scam.

I didnt answer the call becuase it looked weird with all the digits. At first i thought it was my brother calling from overseas until i stumbled up on this website. I have a prepaid alltell phone and i wasn't about to answer that phone call!

okay, i got a call from this number too, no one said a dang thing so i hung up.  However, even though you put your number on the do not call list that does not, in any way, mean you will never get a call from a telemarketer.  Those telemarketers have the right to call you by law if you provide them your phone number. Now if you happen to give your number to some sweepstakes, or something to that effect. Those sweepstakes, in the privacy policy tends to say that they will provide your number to the companies affliated with them (which are usually telemarketers) now.. if any telemarketer calls you, the way to stop it is to tell them to put your number on THEIR do not call list. Every telemarketing company has a do not call list of their own that they have to follow by law, that if you specifically ask to be put on their do not call list that they are not allowed to call you.  This should help you guys who put yourselves on the national do not call list. Again, in simplest terms, the national do no call list keeps your number from being called by telemarketers. HOWEVER, if you happen to provide your number to those companies somehow or someway they have the right to call you.

haha Ok so I fell for the Chilis Free card too and I keep getting that same number. How do I get on this DO NOT CALL LIST? Or the International one? I feel I opened Pandoras box now by doing that survey thingy and yeah I never made it to the end either. So I ended up wasting 15 min of my life and now Im paying for it with 10 calls a day. I havent answered either.

I just received a call from this #+0017018370761, of course i didn't answer but I was wondering where they are calling from and why???

call began 11/5/07, once at 8:56 am, and again at 1:09 Pm. i didn't answer either, they left no messages. two other numbers that seem to be associated with this (they also started calling on the same day)

 hmmmm 8371 is one number off from 8370.... hmmmmmm?
i'm pretty sure they have a thousand #'s for the same place so they can call excrutiatingly frequently.

I answered and no one said anything....should I be worried about charges?

Have registered with the DO NOT CALL Registry and told this person.  Was a male....have been receiving numerous "off the wall" calls the last two weeks?  How can we get this to stop????

I had 2 missed calls from #001 714 362 118 today and i had a bad feeling about this number so i googled and brought me to this site... it may be a different number this time and i don't see any 2008 calls or comments posted here however i might be the frist and they are back... coincidentally, tomorrow Mar 28, 2008 is presumed to be the start when telemarketers will start and can start calling your cell phones (again!) so i don't know... i'm just glad i was not near my phone otherwise i might have picked up the call... be aware!

I have received two phone calls on my cell phone from my cell phone.  The number was 001-xxx-xxx-xxxx.  How could I possibly be revceiving international calls from my own number.  Anyone else had a problem with this?
