i DONT KNOW THIS NUMBER ???

there is this 1 man, he e-mailed my mom and he said that our relative died cause of the tsunami in japan last year and my he asked my mom's phone number so she gave it and then about midnight (12:14AM 5-17-2012) that number called but she didn't answer it cause we are sleeping. and now he is asking for some information like address, mobile number, full name and a valid ID. I'm not exactly sure that the man e-mailed my mom is the one who's calling us because in the mail he said that my uncle deposited a large amount of money and my mom was the only one living beneficiary and he said that he's working at the bank called Barclays bank Ghana and I searched for that bank in google and it said that it's located at Africa and my uncle is working at Japan. so confusing, don't fall into their traps this might be a scam. Thank You
