I have received calls for the past few days from this number too.  There was silence then a man with a mild accent got on the phone... obviously calling from a call center.  Asked to speak with someone and I told him that he had the wrong number and his voice dropped down deeper and he then stated "NO, I have  the right number!"  I just hung up on him. No use in arguing with him.  But no clue who it is either. Sounds menacing.

Number shows as 5-512-3123 and shows "unanvailable" on my caller ID.

The caller, obviously from India, asked to speak with my husband.  I asked what it was regarding, and he explained that it was an urgent call about my computer.  I said, which one?  and he replied "the one connected to the internet".  I said, right, but which computer? I have three.  He then said he was from the National Computer Maintenence Department.  I told him my husband wasn't home, and I wasn't sure when to expect him, so could I please have a phone number so he could call him back.  He launched into an explanation, that they have accounts all over the world, their business was to check for viruses, blah, blah.  I said, "that's not what I asked".  I asked for a phone number.  I am going to research your company on the internet, then if you are reputable I will have my husband call you back".  He said , Oh, that will be all, and the next thing I know I was talking to dead air.... LOL.  Hope that helps somebody.

We have been getting the calls from this number as well as 2-233-2233. Same thing. They love calling around 8:50 pm.
Hopefully our phone co's call blocker will be able to block those numbers in the future.

Got a call from these people at 5:20 this morning....did not answer.  Probably from India and most likely a simple scam.  Do not give these people any of your time or information.

Have had multiple calls from 005-512-3123 and  2-233-2233.  Same thing except I told him he was full of Crap....several times and didn't let him speak.  So, he said, fook u, fook u and then I offered to do a conference call with the local police dept.....his response was fook u and hung up.  I got off the phone laughing.
