Called saying my Microsoft software was in grave danger.

This about the fifteenth call I have received from this number 007-220-2172. They identify themselves from Windows and sometimes Windows Microsoft. When you question them as to who they are they hang up. Also every person that has called either speaks bad English or it's not clearly spoken. I consider these phone calls a scam. Also the last call came in at 10:48 pm well past legal calling times.

... and, they came from a nonexistent area code.
Yes, it is a scam!

I just received a call from this number from "Alex" (in an Indian accent) from Microsoft telling me my computer was going to crash in an hour. I *may* have yelled at him and said some expletives since they were calling me with a scam at 10:50pm :P

I have received numerous calls from this number! I am not even a "Windows user" but I totally play along… They ask for my IP address and say that they can log into my computer to fix any errors messages that they are receiving. I have left them have a piece of my mind a time or two but they continue to call.

See: Microsoft scam. It is current and yes it is a total scam. But what can I do? I got another bunch that wants to lower my credit card rate and I don't have a credit card. They keep calling and I'm pushing the 1 and Oh, I'm caller 16? The state police association wants me to donate too. I got the firefighters wanting money, the disabled veterans gotta have something right? Then there's the democrats, they want my support to empower women so I can stay unemployed and they can get authority over men. They want me to give up my country so these people won't break up their families, and after all it's NOW no longer our country? Our President says so? The stinkin NSA can hear the farts in the German Chancellors office but can't track down any telemarketers? Why can't we get cheap gas anymore? Is it too much to ask the government to monitor the people calling me, instead of me? WHO ARE WE GONNA CALL? ..... well who?

Received a call with Indian voice accent talking about my computer.  I hung up.  Total scam!

I keep getting calls and the last time I wanted to ask if they wanted my SS number or my bank account PIN number. As soon as I said "Hey let me ask you" they hung up before I finished my question. Next time I'm gonna blow a real loud whistle in their ear.
