Also, I dont know if it helps at all, but I'm on Tmobile. I saw one of the other 1-007 messages on here that basically consisted of the same thing, and it seems like everyone there was also Tmobile.

I am on tmoble (android G1) and getting these messages too. Probably about 12 so far this morning! I would say it stated after an update to my phone, but by looking at the recent activity, it started before the update about an hour before I did the update.

If it helps any I had been getting the same texts on my Motorola Cliq (Android 1.5). I went into a T-Mobile Store and showed my buddy that works there the text messages. He did some research and said its a fault in the software. The network is trying to push an update to the phone and its not reading the update right and displaying it as a text message.

I'm also on T-Mobile (with FlexPay), Samsung Comeback cheapie phone. I too was getting those messages, though I haven't in October (yet). Thinking maybe it was the update thing like 'davidacx' said above, I tried several times to manually update the software, but it keeps telling me no update is available. No idea what's up. But thanks, T-Mobile, for being a pain in our butts! :(

I took am on T-mobile network and using android as well and plagued by the same txt messages. If it is t-mobile trying to push up dates, it kind of makes sense cause I have a Motorola Cliq and I know an update is suppose to be coming out soon to update the cliq to a later version of Android.

At least you guys aren't gov't conspiracy theorist freakzoids like some of the folks who got texts from 007-620-0000. I'm on a brand new android HTC G2, brand new customer to T-mobile. Sounds like I seriously need to become buddies with someone at T-mobile. I started getting texts this morning at 5am, every hour 2 or 3 texts come in from one or both of the numbers. After reading everything I'm guessing it's a t-mobile update or cycle reset... ?  I'm gonna become their loudest squeaky wheel!
