Calls 2 to 3 times per day on my cell phone. Most times just 90813 displays on caller ID. Never leaves a message.

Calls at least twice a week to my cell phone, though on the Do-Not-Call List.  Previously reported this company to the FTC for these violations.

this number calls at least daily. Most of the time it shows as +90813 (as in  "sheppy's" post), but once it showed up as 1-008-949-0813. Never leaves a message. I actually answered it today. The caller, with a heavy accent, asked for me by my first name. I told them no, she was away, could I take a message, and they mumbled something about call back later & quickly hung up. Very strange.

I actually work for one of the cell phone companies and I get both 90813 and 0089490813 on my work phone...it is a pain.  Happens at least once a day.

I get both numbers listed above, daily.  Is there any way to stop this?  Only answered once.  Does it cost more? Any info appreciated...

008-949-0813 -I've been getting calls for the past few days - about 4 to 6 times daily - I'm registered on the "Do Not Call List" (doesn't seem to make a difference) and the number they are calling is non-published, unlisted + it's broadband. they stay on the line for 5 to 10 seconds & then hang up. Sometimes, I hear noise, muffled voices, and/or even heavy breathing - CREEPY!

I also get lots of "out of area" calls (no caller ID numbers). I accidentally answered some of these calls (not necessarily from this particular number) & they said (in a heavy middle eastern accent) that they were a pharmacy & they tried to sell me prescription drugs over the phone.

I just googled that number some more - it's listed as unknown telemarketer here http://budgetbk.com/html/areacodes/000.html  (also mentioned Do Not Call Registry conditions under which unsolicited commercial calls are permissible.

Another site said that the "008" area code originates from calls made online - some 008 numbers are sending hundreds of text messages to cell phones that parents bought their children. ($$$$ CHA CHING!BIG cell phone bill!)

Another site said that they answered & the solicitor had a heavy East Indian accent & said that the call was made from "US Pharmacy" - which is probably located in India.

The question still remains to be answered - how can we stop these nuisance calls?

9-0813 UNKNOWN - CALLED ALL NIGHT UNTIL 4:30 A.M.  I had to turn off my ringer and answering machine.
How can I stop these calls.

Number 9-0813 calls all during the day and into the evening without leaving a message. All attempts to stop them from calling don't work.

This number is a "pharmacy" trying to get your credit card number. They have called me several times a day for YEARS. Many times they use a disposable phone number. One time, as a joke, I told them "yes, I want some cocaine." They actually said YES, they would be happy to send it to me, just give them my credit card number. LOL I changed my answering machine message to the recording that says "this number has been disconnected" and the calls have slowed down. Just ignore any number that doesn't look right, you can't stop them, believe me I tried. Blocking their number doesn't work, they just use another phone.
