People selling insurance form companies who know you will be so annoyed at unsolicited call that they don't give their name.

What I would like to find out is where did they get my number?? I am particularly cautious at handing out my number or any detail. What steps can I take to prevent them from calling me again?

You are a victim of predictive dialers.  They dial numbers in sequence.   Also,  it makes no difference how careful you are with your personal information,  there are ways of getting it when these scammers want it.

They usually take their current date base and ask them to prefer freinds or family, I've worked for udm"platinum life" as sales consaltant in a call centre

My number but Asked to speak to my husband (by name). Refused to tell me why calling and hung up.  Call centre type noise in background

Same happened to me today. What is being done about the Protection of Personal Information legislation in this country?

Who are this people calling from this number because they gave me a shock of my life yesterday then just hang up &  where do they get my name & my husband's surname
