Was phoned by this lady who wanted to confirm my details for my Edgars account.....they knew the credit amount I have, phone numbers etc.  I'm reporting this to Edgars to stop any fraud

yes, me too, just now they called. i just put the phone down again...

Also just received a call from them. Going to escalate it too.

said they are updating to see how many clients they really have and calling from a call center.

Received 2 missed calls from this number -when I called it-a male voice recording with an afrikaans accent says" the number you have dialed is incorrect!". But how did I receive a call from this number!

I received three missed calls from 011 3996999 today and when i called back a male voice told me the number does not exist.

This person sounds like an indian person, when I call the number back he just plainly says this number is incorrect please check with your directory. I mean who the hell says that-not even the telkom lady says that. Its some kind of fraud

Got a call from this number today, the guy who called wanted to speak to me they said my name and surname luckly they couldn't hear me.

Have just recieved a call from this number.  Also a question regarding my Edgars a/c limit.  I closed my a/c at least a year ago.  Have just phoned Edgars Fin Services to check that it has not been reopened.

I also sent a message via the Edgars website requesting that this matter is looked into.  I have always been meticulous about shredding all my correspondence,

I also received three calls, they also wanted to update details for my Edgars account..which I dont even have told the cow she is a piece of [***] and must not try scam me and told her I have reported her number.

I am sure Edgars is untrustworthy and giving out my details to random scum

I don't answer as I don't recognise the number but I get a phone call AT LEAST twice a week from this number!

These people are calling from Direct Channels a company in Randburg just creating leads for their database as they are selling insurance. They call people even for closed Edcon acc's , what the f#*!

I receive calls from this number every single day. Sometimes twice a day and have been ignoring it.  Today I answered and it's the same as all the other complaints - updating my Edgars account which I don't even have.  I told them never to call again.  Let's see what happens.
