This party claimed to be from Microsoft and said they were warning me that my computer was generating errors and it meant that my computer that was registered when I purchased it was in danger of crashing.  After doing some clicking on my computer - I was dumb enough to let them connect - they proceeded to show me all these red warnings and that the text was going to turn red if she could not fix them.  Of course it promptly turned red and then she offered to fix this by having me download a program from Microsoft, which was free, but the tech service to clear it up and keep it clear was $199 for 2 whole years.  At that point, I became very quiet and she got faster in her sell and asked me for a commitment.  I told her that I had a nephew that was a tech and needed to check with him and then she got quiet and pushed once more when I said no, but she could leave a phone number or e-mail me and I would get back to her.  Of course, she did not and then hung up.   I did check this out with my nephew, who is a tech and this is a true scam.  Run do not walk away from this

Have received at least 2 calls from this number but haven't answered either one.  The caller doesn't leave a message.

I received a call from this number.  When I answered and politely asked them to remove my name from their list the gentleman caller began cursing and swearing at me.  He referred his cursing at not only me but my mother and father as well.

a woman said they were receiving error messages from my computer and it needed their attention to remedy the problem  ... she said she could fix it ... it was hard to understand what she was saying because of her accent ... my answer was that i would check it out and i hung up ... sounds like phishing to me
