Got a please call from this no. saying quote a ref. no. why would I want to? must be some sort of scam??

they are debt collectors.

Their name is MBD Inc.

They are Virgin Actives debt collectors, so don't pick up the call if they do call (Lol).

somebody called and claimed to be from a Law firm in Jo burg. the guy said his name was Sibongile.
My clerk answered my phone at  the time. This Sibongile asked that I call back and submit my ID and reference number he did not leave a reference number. I did call back
The back ground noises were similar to that of a call center. I asked the lady who answered what is the call about and what is their business? She just said Sibongile would phone me back. that was this morning 10:10 it is now 113:15......still no call.
