Got a call from this number today. These people claim to be doing a survey on behalf of standard bank with regards to their services. I got supecious about the call when the lady started asking me personnal questions like how much do I earn a month, my age group, when last did I visit standard bank and what was the purpose for goung to the bank. That's when I told the lady I couldn't give her my personal information eg salary n purpose of visiting the bank. She quickly said thank you and hung up.

The persom who called me from this number his English was difficult to understand. How did he know that I visited Standard Bank on the 27th of March  at the Centurion Branch.

I got a call from this number 18 May.  Slow speaking black male claimed he was in a call center.  Also very suspicious.  He claimed that I was at the bank on a day that I was not.  As soon as I asked where he got the incorrect information from he hung up.

I received missed calls on this number from last week.  Even today I received a call and when I answered, the person hung up.  When trying to call the number, always engaged.

I get calls every day, even weekends. Sometimes it's supposedly Standard Bank and sometimes it's just silent. I have blocked the number on my mobile now

Its true the number is always engaged. Why should these people have access to all our personal details call you and know exactly every detail.

A gentleman called me just now saying he is doing a survey on behalf of Standard bank.

I just received a call from this (0115924800) number and it was a male by the name of Viwe he said to me he is calling on behalf of Standard bank, he is in Pretoria and he said i visited Standard Bank on the 18-08-15 in Pietermaritsburg and he know everything about me and i got suspecious and i hung up his call

I just received a call from a lady (011 5924800) she told me she was working for an independant market research company called Plus94 and that they had been appointed by ServicesSETA and SARS to contact owners of companies to verify their details and if the companies were still active. WHAT THE HELL!!! Firstly, if SARS and SSETA had initiated this research you would think they would know about "CORPORATE THEFT" so their is no way in hell i will give anyone my personal and company details and secondly as a registered company in SA you are required to submit annual returns to CIPC. If you dont the company is deemed as dormant and deregistration begins. So why would SARS and SSETA need an outside company to collect this data if they can just access CIPC records??

My advise to anyone else who gets this type of calls - Take down as much information about this company as possible and post it on this website to warn other consumers. Then contact SARS and SSETA and lodge an objection as this is unacceptable and an invasion of private protected information.

This number also called me around half past eleven claiming that they work for standard and that they are seeking information on how to improve their customer service. Funny thing is that they knew who I was, and where I did my last transaction. But the moment I started asking the lady questions she started mumbling and dropped the call.

They phoned me today (10 Nov 2015 ; 10:55) after two ladies were in front of my house a week ago asking questions. They did a survey according to them in Krugersdorp. But their questions asked was personal in the sense of : How many people lives in your house above 18, Do you have dogs and how many, Your name and surname, your address (even though they were walking) , your cellphone number and lastly for who did you vote in the last election. Then what can they do to upgrade our town.

When the lady phoned now again she ONLY confirmed if they were here and for what party will I be voting in which case I replied I won't be voting in the next election.

She did disclose the company name but so quickly I couldnt hear a word. But it wasn't something with a Plus.
