Can we lay a charge of misrepresentation against this person?

It's a land line number and it should therefore be easy for the SAPS to find this guy

He also tried to convince me that he is from FNB and I applied for a credit card about two weeks ago and he phoned me to confirm my details...I suspect that he has someone inside FNB supplying him with this kind of information

I got a call from this guy claiming to call from Std bank regarding my credit card

This number belongs to New World Trace in Brakpan.

The guy's name is Andre Bessinger.
According to his web-site he locates missing persons and debtors.

He phoned me this morning pretending to be from ABSA. He is misrepresenting himself in order to get personal information.

This idiot, pretends to work for a courier company and got all my personal informationfrom my PA. He acted as he was one of my old time friends Pieter Nel. In the meantime this guy has bad intentions and is indeed part of some or other MOB. New world trace in Brakpan indeed. This guy is mispresenting himself to gain personal information. Please be carefull. I contacted him on his Cell 082 849 7820 and wanted to find out who he is and he started to swear at me, I mean he wanted my infor, so I wanted his info and het dropped the call 3 times. This guy is trouble, big trouble. I am opening a case against him and his firm for misleading and also acting with wrong intensions

For those who don`t know how the tracing industry works...If people pay their accounts like they should, tracing companies would not exist. The tracing companies get instructions from clients to trace debtors that is owning money to different creditors. Tracing companies uses different methods to get hold of debtors who is running away from their debt. Debtors get very angry and offended when they realize that they were caught out by a tracer. In a perfect world it would not be necessary for tracers to use clever methods to outfox a debtor. The objective of tracing a debtors new address is for the sheriff of the court to deliver a summons etc.
to that person, and as you know nobody in his right mind will supply his address willingly. As long as absconded debtors exist there will be tracing companies to track them down. Tracing of debtors is not a new thing in South Africa and will always be there.

I had a fckin call from this guy this morning before 8. Telling me he is from ABSA and if I received my credit card,  I said no it is the first time in 20 years that I have been contacted by ABSA.  Asking me my home address, where I work. He even phoned my company. Gave him a street name and then realised this not a official call.  I phoned him back several times on the numbers listed here. At first a guy picked up and said he was someone else.  I phoned ABSA head office and they did not recognize the number from there branches in Gauteng. The next moment this as$%#l tells me that If I try to call him he will as I recall: "ek sal die poliste op jou sit" Bloody rude.  Went to the police in Cape Town and to a major newspaper and also ABSA.  Numerous people in my are were also contacted in my area.  hope somebody track this guy down.  He said he's name were Andre.  IT IS TIME THAT SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING AND THAT THE POLICE FOLLOW THIS LEAD.  011-7421480, 011-7421369, 082 8497820.  Watch out for this numbers. Bad news.

Yes. This man phoned me and my wife at our work and asked work and home addresses. Very arrogant not even identifying himself. Does this man know the law or maybe he thinks he knows the law. Someone from absa should address this before it gets out of hand. He did say he represents them.

Got a phone call from this Andre Bester this morning, very arrogant and all he wants is my home address.  Tried to phone him back no reply!!  Be careful

I also received a call from him also. he said he
me documentation and it came back and that he wants my proper address. tried calling back and there is no answer

All of the complainants here is obviously part of the absconding debtors that is running away from their bad debt. Is all of you so ignorant not to know when you have been traced by a tracing company????

This guy is a chancer!  He called a client of ours who has been Sequestrated in 2009, the house was repossessed and still he now demands a payment of R500 000.00!  I phoned him on the cell nr. 082 849 7820, and he denied phoning my client and was very rude.  I warned him to stop harassing our client or else I will find him and deal with him personally!  He put the phone down before our conversation was finished and told me to f***off!

Makes you wander how many people knows that the first of April is "April`s Fools Day"!!!
