I received a missed call from this number & when I tried to return the call.It rings and then cut-off.

Who does this number belong to actually? Its very irritating to actually answer and the person just keep quite.

I also got a call from this number and when I tried to pick it up somebody hung up and I tried to call and it rang aboout three times and then it was cut off

I recieved a call from this number and when i answered, the person hung up. I tried to call back, the phone rang with no answer until it hung up. when i checked my airtime, it was gone. so i think this might be a reverse call and thats how they get your airtime.

Same problem here...who would employ people just to hang up on you!

I never answered the call thank heavens, and so my airtime remains intact, but I have just received a call from this number and just thought I'd check it up on the web before responding - imagine my surprise when I found this blog!  What will they come up with next!!!

Correct. It is Standard Bank Card Division. They spoke to my wife who said I was not available and could they ring back. It was about delivery of card(s). They have not bothered to do so, and the number hangs up when I ring it. I shall 'phone the MD after Xmas!

I am also irritated by this number, at least they should pick it up when you call back because it rings.
