I received several phone calls from this number over the last few days.  I have picked up the very first time and no one spoke.  I have not picked up since then but have received at least 3 more calls from the same number.

me, too. I never picked up though and dont intend to do, have no idea who the caller could be, any research done?

This phone number has continually called my Cell phone.  My son has a (Satillite")sp? phone and thinking it was him I continued to answer it, but it is not him and I have no idea as to who the caller is either.  I redialed the number and it says it is an international call.

So have I but I refuse to answer.  There are so many scams going on in our area.  I'm afraid this may be another one.

I received several calls from the same number thinking it was an overseas call, but I never answered any of them because I didnt expect any call from outside the country. I was curious to find out whose number it belong to, so I googled it and found all the posting.

Apparently nobody knows the story of this number? I just received one and didnt answer

These guys have called me repeatedly for a couple weeks. Every caller has had an Indian accent.  They try to sell me some sort of mortgage program.

I've asked to be removed from their call list every time.  Every time the caller says I'll be removed and I still get a call each day (sometimes twice).

I've asked to speak to a supervisor.  I was hung up on.

I've asked for the caller's name.  I was hung up on.

I've told the caller I live in an apartment and don't even have a mortgage twice.  I was hung up on twice.

I've asked for the caller to identify the company they work for.  I was hung up on.

I'm pretty sure the people responsible are setting up a scam. Don't bother picking up.

I've reported the number to donotcall.gov.

OMG!!!!! Just received back to vack calls from 011 888 637 2967.....couldn't figure out who it was so I tried to look up the country code and the area code and tumbled upn all these posts.....going to block this number.....Thank you all for posting :)

I just received a call from this #, didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the area code. There was no message left on the answering machine, to bad there isn't a way to track this calls.

I have received calls from this number 5 different times over the last 2.5 weeks. Each time, it's a different person claiming to be from some "educational advising" company, asking if I need help looking for a school to attend. I am already a student at university! Also, these people all know my first and last name. How do I block this number?

Has anyone tried calling them back or callled the operator to either report the call or run a trace? It seems to me that if nothing is done other than hanging up or not answering, they will eventually find some sucker. Which is usually the elderly who pays for our don't want to get involved additudes. When I get such calls it's on their dime and I keep them on the line long enough to get a trace. Heres hoe I do it. I tell the caller to hang on because I am on the other line and I want to hear what they have to say. While on hold I contact the operator stating that I have a harassing caller and that I am fearful of them. If you can get them to hold (not easy) they will be traced and stopped.
I say fight back and put these scumbags out of business. Did you know that a lot of these calls are actually from prison....HMMMMMMMMM Interesting isn't it. What they are really doing is called fishing and numbers are run through private networks. Bottom line is they want your private information and hopefully so of your cash.
Stop them before someone goes broke. It could be someone you know and love.

I just Gotten a phone call that same number I'm thinking somebody could be calling from a ipad cause it wool make different types of numbers show up.

If they don't leave a voice mail, it could not be so important. I added it to my blacklist

I receive a called like this today I never pick up or called if is important they should leave a message no message guess don't know who it is so I don't called back here is a list of Country's with codes for information for all.  http://www.howtocallabroad.com/codes.html

I received a calll from this number. They asked for my son by his first name as if they knew him. I told them this was not his number. I think it has to do with college placement. My son sent for some literature and now we are being bombarded with strange phone calls with college offers. It might have been interesting to see where this 'college' was located.

Some foreign SOB.  Claims my computer has some kind of Microsoft problem and cannot connect to the main frame.  Asked if he knew what the Federal Do Not Call list is and he hung up.
