Claimed to be after a fraudulent electronic funds transfer. Said unless I cooperated my credit rating was going to be destroyed.

Received a call from phone number 013-527-8474 message left from a very India(n) sounding man stating his name was Officer Jack Williams with the office of Financial Infraction Division warning me not to disregard this message as I was being investigated for some offense she did not elaborate on.  He threatened that if I did not return the call immediately that I would be prosecuted and he wished me luck if I failed to return her call.  The number he said to call was 281-940-1612.  This number is in the Houston TX area but the number he called from is not a US number. He left me 6 messages within hours. He told me I was pressing my luck & that I wouldn't be happy with the outcome if he had to come & arrest me.

This Indian man very rude called a private number for my husband asking for me and claiming we hung up on him -- granted this is the first time we ever got a call from this unknown number and he stated he would call back later that it was a "time sensitive legal matter".  When looking up the country code for the prefix 013 online it comes back to Netherlands or Carribean - we have never been to either place and have no outstanding debts - so we are very confused who got our unlisted phone numbers.
