My son recieved a call from this number and they asked him if he still wanted the job, we live in Nebraska and they said they are from texas!!??

This number called my place of business, wanted to confirm employment...weird.  Sounded like a person from India.

I got several calls today from this number back to back and they were persistent. I didnt answer since i didnt recognize the number.

Received persistent calls from this number.
Let it go to voicemail as I did not recognize the number.
Message referenced a former employee.
Person on message had a heavy accent (assumed to be Indian as in country not Native American)
Message stated they were from American Background
They provided a telephone number 646-485-3865 or an email address 'verification@americanbackground.com' to respond (with a case number).

Sounded like a scam so I did not return the call
