numerous calls from 02175c4869. How can I stop this nuicance

Every hour calls from 0212754869 - no one there but a voice says "Goodnight" at the end.
Irritating or what!!!!

Caller asked if I was the lady of the house.
When I replied no he put the phone down.

keep getting calls on the hour no one answers

fed up with these inane calls

Had two of these call today NO ONE SPEAKS nuisance or what !!!

Keep getting this number........ I don't answer......but it is  a nuisance.

When I rang this number  it stated  that number had not been recognised.

Yes, had this number call us in Ruislip in December 2012. Think they only want to speak to a woman and then when I said hello they put the phone down. Ofcom or someone should sort them out. 021 275 4869

This phone number is from India - unfortunately as it doesn't come up on caller display as International I answered it and actually had somebody at the other end.  Politely refused to take part in their survey.

They aren't doing any survey. They are part of a scam network that does multiple scams looking for a fool to believe them.

What a great pity that so many of us are pestered by  calls from this number.  BUT there must be somebody somewhere who reads our entries and  CAN do something constructive and positive to help and then does nothing  at all..
What a sad and selfish society we live in.

17 calls over a week from this number..when i pick up a recorded message just says 'goodnight'   who can sort this out???

just silence on the line when they call from this number  my wife is convinced i'm having a fling!  does anyone know how to bar calls from this number?

Strategy for dealing with this pestilence:
Phone rings
Can I speak to the householder/Mr/Mrs/punter please?
Answer:
Yes, one moment please whilst I get him/her for you.................
Immediately put receiver down quietly and leave it off hook for 2 mins then replace.
These people work in call centres, often in Southern India, and they are paid for the number of calls they can make in a shift.
Wasting their time makes their pay rate unsustainable so if enough people do it then eventually they will stop phoning. Problem solved.

Just taken a call from 021 275 4869.  Asked for Mrs Fleming and then asked if I was Mr Fleming.  I asked him who he was and he hung up.

Recieved a call from this number, twice actually but nobody spoke so it looks like it is a random number caller I have noted it in my book and will include it in my next list to TPS.
I do not buy anything from a telephone number ? if they are not prepared to put anything in writing so that I can verify who calls me then I put it down as a "Scam" caller
