What's with this number?

I also receive call from this number in Switzerland // +41(0)21 555 3311. But I was not at home and could not know to whom this number is connected.
I try to call them back : their office is closed !!!! And it an normal open day !!!

It's the same for me. I've been receiving calls from this number for one year...and always in office hours of course, and when I call them back nobody answers...it's a pity, I would send them "in quel paese"...

He called in French and when I said I spoke only English there was no explanation.  He just hung up.

I've got this f****** number on my answering machine about once every two weeks. Never leaves a message. Does anybody know how to stop them from calling ?

I receive calls every day while i'm out of my house.
Probably some telemarketers making a survey of some sort...

I get several phone calls from this phone number each day. It is a swiss number (0041) 021 5553311.
Whoever it is, he must be based at or closed to Lausanne.
Anyway, tomorrow, I will try to call them and to find out more.

Otherwise, I will get into contact with Swisscom.
Swisscom is the national telephone company in Switzerland, and any fixed phone numbers must be applied through them. Abusive phone calls are not legal and Swisscom is usualy very helpful when being contacted with such kind of problems. They normaly stop them.

could Swisscom help you? I just got a call from the above-mentioned nr. I guess there were speaking in English but the line was extremely poor.

BTW, would anyone of you know if this could be a skype nr?

Just called Swisscom and while I was reporting this number as abusive, guess who called me back! That 555 number.

So it seems that this phone nr is a Cablecom phone nr (VoIP nr) belonging to the company For Well or Fair Well (or whatever). They sell whatsoever kind of products and despite telling them that I was not interested in a polite way, I got almost yelled at by the Sales Rep on the phone (nice).

Anyway, it seems that we all received a catalogue/flyer for whatever products in Jan/Feb of this year & therefore getting a follow-up call.

As Swisscom was on the other line with me, they could hear the aggressivity of the Fair Well company and therefore will report them as abusive anyway.

Nous aussi nous recevons sans arrêt des appels de ce numéro, nous habitons en Suisse et venont pourtant de faire changer notre numéro de tph. Je viens de rentrer en contact avec Swisscom qui est notre opérateur, apparemment ils ne connaissent pas ce client ne faisant pas parti de leur dispaching. De toute façon j'ai décidé de porter plainte pour harcèlement téléphonique, nous verront bien ce que celà donne

Nous avons une petite société, apparemment cette bande de guignol veut d'optenir le nom d'un contacte, pour lui envoyer des marchandises non sollicitées. Ils n'arrêtent pas de nous appeler, si leur but et de gaspiller de l'argent c'est gagné, comme je prends les appels donc systématiquement je les envoie ce faire balader pour êtres poli.

Anche nel sud della Svizzera arrivano chiamate da questo numero, ho parlato con mio figlio che studia a Losanna e mi ha detto che anche lui ha ricevuto una chamata da questi signori. Pare sia un'agenzia che fa inchieste telefoniche non solo a livello nazionale ma anche internazionale.
Ecco perchè anche gente fuori Svizzera riceve chiamate da loro. Pare inoltre, non si sa bene come, che abbiano accesso anche ai numeri non pubblicati in elenco.
Fortuna che non ero in casa se no li avrei mandati a quel paese !

Vous pouvez les atteindre au 0848888887 j'ai eu une Mme Roth au téléphone qui hors mis le faites d'être détestable ([***]!!) a pris note de mon numéro de téléphone pour le sortir de la database...
Finalement après une petite recherche on fini par trouver comment les atteindre!!

Even if you have a * berfore your phone number in swisscom directory, this doesn't mean that these companies doesn't have the right to call you.

This * has no legal value, this just mean the companies don't adhere to any ethics.

Please make some noise at
1) Your phone provider, that can't do anything; but will log the event and statistics will grow.
2) Fédération romande des consommateurs: http://www.frc.ch/ that will pressure OFCOM to legiferate and consider this as PHONE SPAMMING

T'a pas eu de chance. Moi j'ai eu affaire à cette femme qui a été très serviable. Peut-être as-tu été un peu trop agressif. En tous les cas. Après mon appel, tout est rentré dans l'ordre. Comme quoi...
