Got calls from this number yesterday and today.   No message left.  I'm sure it is the same scam idiots that keep changing the caller ID number and calling at least twice a day.  So far I have recorded 16 different phone numbers used since September.  Can't block them since tomorrow it will be a different number.  Some aren't even legitimate numbers.  023 is not a valid area code. Today it was also 123-478-9009 also not a valid area code.

I had a female call me and said my computer is being monitored i asked who is this I am not telling you anything she kept saying you have problems with your computer, viruses i told her who are you i am not speaking to you then she said you are being watched and hun up. Help what is going on?

Got a call from 023-478-9009, guy (Indian) said they are monitoring my computer and I had downloaded a virus.  I asked the guy how he was monitoring my computer; he kept saying he needed me to go to my computer and turn it on.  I asked him what my IP Address is (he would know if they were monitoring my computer) he kept saying he needed me to go to my computer and turn it on.   I asked him what company he worked for, he would not say.  

Ironically, at the time of the call, I was on my computer and had just completed a full virus scan.  

I hung up on the guy, not sure what info he was fishing for, but this is an absolute SCAM.

The police are aware of this scam...if you talk with anyone, they will offer you a free virus scan and give you instructions on how to install software in your computer to do the scan.  The software will then search your computer for information (phishing) then generate an invoice asking you to submit credit card information (or perhaps use such information if the software finds it in your system) in order to extort money from you.  Either just ignore the calls, or report them to your local authorities.  Under NO circumstances, submit to any of the caller's instructions!

Indian woman from the "Computer Maintenance Department". Gave here a hard time over verifying what she was talking about & she hung up.

had umpteen calls from them !!   I was nearly conned til I twigged !   Told them not to phone me again ! But get at least one call a week , and just been woken up by a call GRRR !
