Twice I've recvd a call from 0248916319 on my cell. I have not answered. They do not leave a voicemail. Very odd. Is 024 a country code? It is not any known area code in the U.S.

looks like a number from either: ACT or NSW (states)in australia, I am in australia and have just had a call, no message, from one of the numbers on this page. The number is converted as area code 02, phone number 4891 6319. To dial from another country use the international access code and one digit from the area code; 011 61 2 4891 6319. Dont know if I'm right here, seems strange that the number is coming up on your phone in our format, perhaps because the are calling your mobile phone (cell phone?). If I find out who is calling me, I will post up who the buggers are. Cheers

I have googled the country code but have not been able to find which country uses 024 code.

I don't think 024 is a country code - but they are listed on this website anyway.

The number looks to have a few too many digits for Australia, ours are usually 10 or 11 digits counting the state code - there are 13 digits in yours, hope this helps anyway.

Country code 024 belongs to Angola (Mid-Africa) you can google: "024 country code" and the first line of info is from United Nations, this page contains all country codes. I was able to find it because I also did receive a call from 024 657...country code, no message left.

I just got call from "Unavailable 024"

Some guy with a heavy Indian accent was trying to get my information about my gas and electrical service telling me that he was from "The City Gas and Electricity Company"!!

Well, in the city where I am living there is no such organization and this creep was just trying to steal my info to switch to "Savings" from some dubious companies or worst,

Maybe he was going to use my identity since when one gives out any utility info, it includes name, address, phone number - what else do we need next? Have some Nigerians come to our home??

I am trying to find out where the call with the following number are +024-3820394522 and 0243820394588 coming from/originating. I received a call with the aforementioned numbers and I have no clue which country uses this 024 cod.
Every day I am getting the call from the above numbers.

I have this evening received a call from 024 7675 7274.  No voicemail message was left.  Is there any way I can find out who this number belongs to without calling the number?  

From reading other posts - it seems this is an invalid Area Code.

I've been receiving calls from 011 61 2 3993 6319 on my cell phone in New Jersey.  The call  is identified as originating in Australia. Though I have not answered, no one has left a message.  I hope if or when I do respond, that it is an invitation to visit Austrslia, for free, as I hear the country is beautiful.  I could use a vacation.
