I received one of those fax calls today, it just keeps beeping on my answering maching.. I am with Telstra. We recently changed phone numbers but we are still getting the strange phone call...

Anyone found out what its about? Hope we find out soon, cause its god damn annoying.

I get a phone call from this number every single day of the working week and have done for months - bloody annoying as it is a fax machine.  Personally wish they would just [***].

Im getting these phone calls to so i just leave my phone off the hook and dont hang up on them that keeps their phone line ingauged so they carnt use it for more nusance calls HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA suck eggs

just rang Telstra they blocked 028 003 6300 from ringing my number... WTF does someone ring a number and be such a fukard when there not making money for their time..

This number 02 80036300 constantly calls on our landline- it is a fax & it is damned annoyed to recieve this fax call.  Why is that no one can stop this number and block it at all.
Surely the numnuts who own this number must know by now that the numbers they call are landlines not fax numbers.  I leave my phone of the hook until the number calls out so the company is wasting money in ringing this number.
you would think with technology of today, telstra or any of the other telecommunications mobs could stop or let this company know re the number.

The company responsible is Ozmedia http://www.ozmedia.com.au/ call them on 1800 442 557 to be removed from their database or place yourself on the do not call register

Here are a few options to stop the calls. I did both.

Call OzMedia on 02 4384 5452 and ask to have your number removed from their faxing list
Register your number on the “Do Not Call Register”. Registration is free and is valid for eight years.

The calls are from OzFax, a service offered by OzMedia. Businesses pay them to broadcast fax marketing offers to all the fax numbers they have on their list (they claim to have 1.3M numbers). In many of our cases the numbers they are calling are no longer fax numbers.

I just rang OzMedia on 02 4384 5452 and asked to have my new work number (which is not a fax number) removed from their faxing list. Gentleman I spoke to was very polite and told me he would remove the number immediately but it may take 7 days for the calls to stop.

Fingers crossed that's the end of my faxing issues and this works for you too.

Called by this number. My new phone identified it as spam and flagged it red. I tried to call them back it would not ringtone they probably blocked my number

Do not trust these people they are scam been positively identified as spam and scam also scum
