I have had 4 calls from this number but nothing is said when I pick up the phone, sometimes it just goes dead, other times there is a very tone (not a fax) and then it goes dead. Wil report more as and when

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, and I could hear others with a similar accent in the background wanting me to give remote access to my PC because they claimed to be fixing errors.

Didn't want to give me the location of the business and were quite convincing. Just left her there talking to herself.

Had the same just told them they had wrong number

Why do I keep getting calls from this number. Surely someone can tell me where it is from. There is never anyone on the other side and then it disconnects. Very annoying.

I received this call from an Asian girl who said she was calling on behalf of BT and told me I had some very critical issues on my laptop that needed to be corrected as soon possible and could I go and get on line straight away to rectify the problems, I told her this is not a convenient time to which she replied it would take less than ten minutes and needed to be done immediately, then I said to her "But I am not with BT" and that is when she hung up

Have received several silent calls from this number.

just had a call from this number an asian girl said I had major issues with my laptop and she would help me sort them out all I needed to do was log on and she would fix it remotely. I told her I didn't own a computer and she hung up. Very dodgy.

Just had the same thing here - male this time, asking me to switch my computer off.  When I said I couldn't do that straightaway he said he'd ring back later.  He has done, but I just let it go to voicemail - no message.

I had a call from this number yesterday, from an Asian woman very convincing she said I had some critical issues with my computer and IT was about to crash, she said she was a technician from microsoft and she would talk me throu fixing the problem, so like a fool I did and before I knew it she had her curser on my page showing me all these warning signs saying that it was not working, this is when I got worried, she told me to hold on as her senior technicion would fix the problems, it was then he asked me for bank details and £48 to fix. I told him I would speak to my husband first then he became horrid, I then pulled out the plug and rang the police, they told me it was happening to many people and most of those had given bank details and lost thousands of pounds, I to was getting unavailable numbers ans silence at first, just shows how easy it is to hack into your private life!!!!!
