i got a call from this number. I answered and heard noise like a pub etc in the background. No one spoke to me it then hung up. I didnt bother calling back.

I have been getting calls from this number when I am at  work. There are no messages left. I have just noticed that my mobile phone account has been charged $1.25 each time a call is made to my mobile. I have not called this number back.

Hey Everyone I got called by this number too, this has been an ongoing problem for citi bank customers for about a year!

If you get in contact with citi bank they reveal that this number is actually not connected with them at all.

Which is in fact true!

These guys are a sydney based scam that have got hold of citi bank customer details,
they call saying they are from a number of different companies trying to sell insurance and deals and other stuff.

They will try and get your credit card details!

They called me saying they were citi bank and wanted all my credit card details to confirm my identity (im thinking but you are citi bank you have all my details you gave me the card haha)
Hang up or just dont answer.

Just beware they have many different numbers they change them every few weeks!!

I received calls from this number. I've been burned before, so unless I know the number or it's stored in my phone, I let it go to voicemail. No messages are ever left. If it's a genuine call, I'm sure the caller would leave a message if they were unable to reach me.

Also received one just few minutes ago with the same purpose on insurance and stuff. I asked for the PDS and in turn he also asked me for my email address. Told him he should have it in front of him if he's from citibank, then he just hang up.

Yes got a call from a guy using this number.  Background noise was like he was walking down a busy city street and he was selling me other benefits for Citibank customer.  It sounded dodgy so I said I have access to Citibank website and I can view all their products there.  Then I just hung up! He sounded like a loser!

Just got another call from a female on this number.  There must be a whole lot of them scamming customers.  I just hung up on her when I realized it the same number with the dodgy guy a few days earlier!

Late last week I had a call from 0281886957 and as mentioned earlier by others, I heard a fair amount of background noise, however, no one spoke to me so I hung up.

Never answer the call, but receive a call from this number at least twice a week. Very irritating.

I receive a call from 0281886957 twice a day at various times. The calls started on 5 April 2013. I never answer the call and they hang up when it goes to my voicemail. It is really annoying.

Similar experiences as reported before - received calls a number of times from the number 0281886957 but no one answers. Now I don't pick up the call when I see the number.
