good question. I just got a call from this number, as soon as I answered the call ended. Tried to ring back but got the engaged tone all the time.

yeah, I've spoken to Telstra about this. It's a marketing company - they call 20 numbers at once, and as soon as one of those is answered the rest die. It means you can get multiple calls within a short space of time. Totally annoying.

Just got the same phone call - can see I missed a call from them yesterday too.  Exact same scenario - tried answering the call but got hung-up on straight away.

I just got a call from this number on my work mobile!
Which is funny, because my work mobile number is on the 'do not call' register.
Isn't that illegal?
Definitely putting in a complaint.

Yes I rang the number and it is Coles Liquor... when I rang they said this is not a regular service and to call another number..

This is actually Coles Liquor group. I have today rung an opted out. The number to call is 1800 78 78 78.

Nuisance. Called 3x on saturday!

thank god for this site - the calls from 0285954300 had been drivin me CRAZY! they'd call at any time of day or night, v. frustrating.
called 1800 78 78 78 (Coles Liquor) and after some arguing they said they'd remove me from the list.

It's Vintage Cellars (Coles Group). I am on the database so a marketing call is not unexpected. They were polite/nonpushy and flagged me for no call for 2months.

I'm over these mobile scams and crazy calls.

Thanks to this site i called the 1800 78 78 78 number straight away and asked for my number to be removed from the Vintage cellar wine list.
The lady who answered the phone was quite polite and she took my number of the list straight away (well she said she did - will have to wait and see).

Yes, I have spoken to them and actually bought a very nice case of wine off them for less than half the RRP. If you belong to Vintage cellars they ring you from time to time with promotional offers. Only took up one offer so far but was very satisfied. Have also had a few missed calls from them but they generally ring back some time later.

I wouldn't mind so much if it was monthly and they didn't hang up. Whoever though of this new marketing method should be shot.

I just rang the 1800 78 78 78 number, and in a very sweet voice asked if I could talk to someone about removing my number from their list - the guy who answered said he could. I gave him my number and first name and he did it straight away. Thanks for the tips on here. Appreciate it.

I want to be removed from the list that someone keeps calling me... it always happens few times in a few years!!! it's really annoying!!!

Same thing for me - several calls from this number in one day, every day for weeks now, driving me INSANE.

I have now rung the 1800 78 78 78 number that someone suggested and made the same request. It was all very easy and I wish I'd done it earlier. Fingers crossed it stops happening now.
