telemarketers from the UK or South Africa.  Will not stop calling. Selling Solar

028-898-4994 just displayed on our phone.  We didn't answer...no message was left.  We are on the do not call list.  Many unwanted solictation calls this month!

I picked up and there was no noise on the other end; I let it time out ("If you would like to make a call..."). WTF.

even if you are on the do not call list, I've "heard" from other posts for similar telemarketers, that if you just don't pickup the phone, eventually (I know not soon enough) they will stop calling as from their end they do not know if they have a live line until you actually pick it up.  Message machines still don't tell them it's a live phone number.  So I guess if this works and to save us all a little frustration, just don't pick up the call.  :)

if you want to stop telemarketing calls, just get the telezapper. I got one and it works great. It even zaps out my phone number to a point where my phone won't even ring.
