this number has been calling me 2 or 3 times a day for two weeks.i've missed every call because its been durring work hours. when i call the number back i get a message saying "thank you for returning our call please hold as we vallue hour call" i havent held for more then 15 seconds but no one has answered wierd?

I have had them calling me too and it's really annoying. They hang up just before I answer it every time. When I ring the number back you get put on hold while some American lady thanks you for returning her call and holding for the next available operator. As I held for about 5 minutes, I don't believe there is actually an operator.

They have been calling during dinner time and it's quite annoying. One night I sat there and answered every calls they made and hang up 30 times.
My husband says, if it's important they will leave a message.
He does not answer calls - answering machine will annoy them.

They have been calling me everyday for 2 weeks and I haven't answered one call. When they first rang I didn't know the number so I didn't answer so then i rang the number back to see who it was and i got nothing not even a dial tone! They never left a message and never have so if they don't want me to know who they are then I don't want to know who they are either. I won't answer their call but I really wish they would stop ringing!!!!!

And they just called me again that's 3 times already today and it's only 12:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too have calls all day from 0289154600 and 0281983800 the few times I have answered there has been no one there...today I yelled into the phone...and heard a man say hello...so I hung up..

I too have had this no call me, If i dont know who it is i type the no into google this is how i found this site. This no also called me yesterday.  89154600 I am not calling them back but when i did a search yesterday I found out that if u register with the do not register web site they cant call anymore or they face a fine. I have also found out that this call costs money!!!

I got hit by this number today - they called my mobile and hung up once i picked up the call - I am in Melbourne Australia btw.  First time i have bothered to search for it - thanks for the tip above re DODO - i'll try it.

No use calling 131 602 as it only puts you through to a Manila call centre and they will tell you that the call from 0289154600 is not them.

How can they get away with hiding themselves like that?

I guess I can look forward to more calls from that number.

It's actually a marketing company called ICT. Following leads presented by 'clients'. In my case Westpac. Maybe they did actually mail some material, but since I'm smart enough to shop  around, I don't even read the propaganda pamphlets.
People should complain to the 'clients' about the harassing nature of this company, and make a particular note you won't be taking about any products explicitly because of ICT.

On further investigation given the area code, the name (ICT) supplied by the unprepared agent of harassment, and the URL derived from that, it appears it is ICTaustralia which is part of the ICTgroup.
They have a freecall number inviting people to call to discuss their services which I think a few people may like to do.

I keep receiving calls from this number and when I return the call there is no ring or anyone on the other end.  Do you know if this is one of the scams where you get charged a huge amount of money for calling the number?  I have received about 10 calls over the last week from this number.

I have been receiving missed calls from this number from the past two days... I'm always suss about returning msised calls esp when they're made during work hours since my friends know not to call my mobile during the day. SO glad I googled the number as I certainly won't be making the effort to return the call and will get onto the ictaustralia website if the calls persist... I have spoken to ICT. The correct number to ring is 02-8268-3600 here in Australia.

The company is a marketing co - in my case employed by St George - to sell products. However there is a dispute between them and apparently the marketing co have gone off on their own tangent - St George is trying to revert this - but there is a problem with the fine print in their agreement. This may be the case if you are a Westpac customer also. Ring your bank, and  have yourself taken off their marketing list. Also - I strongly suggest ringing ICT and letting them know this behaviour is NOT ok. Cheers.

This is really starting to piss me off. They have called about 3 times a day over the past week. 0289154600. When I answer there is just silence. I did try to call back once and there was silence. Not even a ring tone. Cant these people get a life. I wish we got hold of their mobile number, or better there home number!!!

I have rec'd many calls from this 02 number and i finally had a chance to pick up and they asked to speak to me - they knew my full name and said they were calling regarding information i would have recd from EziBuy. then it cut out, so i called EziBuy and they were very unhelpful and the only people that have access to their clients information is Transamerica Ensurance. So I called them and they didn't have me listed on their computers so it mustn't have been them either........
