Company calling as tho they are Dell Computers asking credit card information. Must be a leak in the company.

THIS HAPPENED TO ME! Exact same number. I ordered my lappy last night. This morning I got phone call from "Dell". They said the transaction failed at that they needed the credit card number again. All I could tell was that the caller sounded Indian. Dell computer buyers beware!

Missed calls only. I did not answer and will not be answering after reading the above information

Same thing happened to me.

I made a purchase online through the Dell website over the weekend and this afternoon i had a missed call from this number.  I called it back and it gave me a few options, I was then transferred onto some Indian who said I would have to be transferred onto someone else.  You guessed it another Indian, I said someone had called me from Dell and I was returning the call, she advised that she couldn't help me and I'd have to wait for them to call back & then hung up on me.  So I have no written an email to Dell advising them that I am not happy that someone in their company is leaking people's personal details.

i also got this call, the man asked me some personal info, such as occupation,address, and passport no, but didn't ask me about the credit card info

they call me to today said that my order has been cancelled but i just check the Dell website and everything is fine!

I received a call from this number twice in the same week. An Indian lady said that she sent me a quote for a laptop and they were following it up. I didn't ask for a quote and told her not to call again, both times.

Called me to check whether I was staff or student at the University I work at (work was the delivery address for the laptop I just ordered). Confirmed I was staff, asked me for my staff email address which I gave her. That's it, no request for any personal details or credit card details. I assumed it was because the University has an agreement with Dell for supply of hardware. Female caller, Indian accent.
