Called and hung hup after answer

Missed the call. Called back to a formal recorded message saying that if you missed a call, they will call back shortly, but if message is urgent or that you need the "Department" to contact you, you can leave a phone number and breif message.

dodgy.....gimick avoid if you recieve a call from this number

They've rung and hung up before I've gotten to it 4 times. SO is this one of those charge numbers or what?

Just same as 0289886000 number. Hang up without a word.

This number, or a very similar number (same first four digits, different extension) calls every day before lunch and then after lunch. I don't answer it and they never leave a message! This has been going on for a few weeks.

I've been receiving almost daily calls from numbers very similar to this (different last digits - 02 8988 6095, 02 9888 6221 were the last 2, today and yesterday) I also don't answer them and they have never left any kind of message.

I get calls sometimes twice a day from this number range, today it was 0289886409.
Been happening for about 2 weeks.
What can I do about it?
Call the police?

These are the 3 numbers I get.  I've answered once but I was busy and said they would harass me at a later date.

It's from Westpac.  What do they want???
I never answer. They are ringing every day.
