why [***] always call me??

what do they want from us. i have 2 phones with 2 different companies and theyve called both. this is harrasment

0290165617 called my mobile unsolicited with a voice message saying "c0obgratulatons your moble has been chosen for the chance to enter in quizclub..." I hung up there as I knew it was a scam but thought I should report the number

Received a text informing me i had a missed call from this number, however there was no call.

Had this missed call on my mobile. Looked like a sus number.
Have heard of scams like this, ring number and get hit with huge call cost.

Had a call from this number and a sms.
Did not return the call.

Yeh same just had a call as well from quizclubcompanies.

i got a call.
but was at work so it went to voicemail..
and i called it back but it just made an engaged noise as it was ringing!
i hope it doesn't cost me $100's??

you have to ask you provider.  I suppose we have to complain.

Same as the others... This is unsolicited harassment... I got the same [***] automated call about a quiz club. Funnily enough I just left a complaint on an answering machine of a bogus extortionate SMS "premium provider" called "Mobemeet"... They've been ripping off my wifes mobile account with unsolicited and meaningless SMS messages... these people refuse to stop sending messages. I got Optus to cancel their messages and refund the charges... Please people, stand up to this sort of extortion and demand your rights from your phone company who try to wash their hands from this sort of scam. Unless it's a coincidence, I suspect this "quizclub" scam is also from the same people and sent to the number I left with them as malicious revenge. What sort of scum are they????

I just got called by this number too. Am worried what it might cost me as I foolishly rang back. I'm in Canberra.

Found the [***].

Call 1300 767 306  . it will ask you to leave your mobile to stop the Texting. I just made up a bogus number 0404XXXXXXXX. it will then ask if you wish for further assistance, hold on the line. A person from Sydney will pick up. ( however is is a friken American Jewish company ) You then can ask to remove your number as well as abuse them or complain.
