showed up on caller id but i didn't answer

Picked it up once, but there was nothing on the other end, so I added it to the reject list. Living in Aus at the moment if thats any help

This number has called me 6 times in the last 2 hours as well as a couple of times over the last week.  I haven't called it back.  I answered it the first couple of times and there was no-one there.

It called my home fone once asking for my dad but he wasnt home but just then i got it on MY mobile not my dads asking for my dad again and the person on the other end sounded kiwi.

This number called me not long ago, with no one on the otherside. I am with Virgin mobile so be intresting to see why they call me seeming I am with them already hmmmm

If they ring again I just ignore it I think.

I've received a number of calls from this number as well as 0290281914 which they also seem to use.  I'm wondering if it's somehow linked to making a complaint on the Virgin website.  I'm with Virgin - a pissed off prepaid customer who's gonna change any day now. I tried to get their help with an issue with my prepaid phone over the net. They never replied to my request for help but ever since I've been getting nuisance calls from this number and the other one - no one on the line, disconnected line etc. Maybe Virgin onsells numbers of people who complain about their service just to be a thorn in the flesh?

I had 2 calls from this number, the first time they did not answer and my phone automatically rang a business number giving their business hours the second time a male answered and ask for me by name and said that he was checking to see how my mobile account was going and my phone and credit. I asked him who was calling and he told me he was from virgin mobile. I checked with virgin and they did not ring me and don't make these type of calls to customers.

Just got called by this number, called virgin mobile aus to see what it was about - apparently its a scam

Yeap I have also been called by this number - if it happens again I will report it to the police. What is it about virgin mobile numbers. I have had to change my last number because of nuisance calls been happening for well over a year. VIRGIN WHY DON'T YOU GET IT TOGETHER for your loyal customers sake otherwise I feel I will have to change providers also. Totally unhappy customer of Virgin also.,

i just got a call from this number i didnt answer and after reading these posts i wont be! Ill be swapping over from virgin anyway i hate their customer service you cant understand them and they cant understand me !!

OMG I just got called by this number: 0290281914, after reading these posts I gettin worried cos I always got random phone calls eva since I got my phone from random people.

Would some one report to Police on this number  02 9028 1914 , this is really not going anywhere, got to be Virgin tele marketing. Virgin is own and operated under Optus ... just different name, what a scam. Australia law should be tough at foreign own and how they are operated.

They just called me. I hung-up, and searched the number online. Going to block it now. Thanks for the Info.
