Called me on my cellphone. No message left

called me on my cellphone, today & friday. when i answer no one is there.

Called me today - when I answered the person ended the call.

Called me several time 2day n waits 4 me 2 pick up den hang up

These chancers also called me twice. Sorry guys.. I am too smart for your scam & I am trying to get to the bottom of this. You will be exposed.. It might take long but your day is coming.

It's the third time this number has called me. The first and the second time there was noone on the other side of the phone. Today there was a woman trying to sell me the Kaizer Chiefs Hollard funeral cover. Now the first question I asked myself was why would Kaizer Chiefs set up a call centre somewhere remote when they are based in Gauteng, where the target market is the largest? That's when I checked for the area code online only to get to this website. These guys are chancers for real

Today, I received calls from:

0118189700 / 011 818 9700 x1

All calls, except the last, hung up either before or seconds after I answered, with one having call-centre-like background noise before hanging up.

The final call, the one from the Johannesburg (011) number, did not hang up. The speaker identified herself, and told me she was with The Rewards Company in partnership with Edgars. In short, they tried to sell me a funeral plan.

I declined the offer, and requested that The Rewards Company not contact me again. I explained that the calls bordered on harassment, and she apologised for that and confirmed that outgoing calls are dialed by machine, and are automatically hung up if not answered within 3 rings. She also confirmed that she was calling from Durban (031), but that the call was being routed via Johannesburg.

After completing that call, I contacted Edgars and updated my account to disallow all marketing.

I also got a call from this number but could not at the time, but when I called to found out who ahd called, it was not available.

Yesterday (7March2012) I received the call, hung up after about seconds, could hear someone breathing...
Today (8March2012) I received the call but they hung up after I just said "hello" a couple of
times.
When I tried to call them back on a landline it say that the number does not exist and after
I phoned from my cell it say that the number is not available...

Quite annoying..!!

Keep on getting calls from the 0310011004 nr a few minutes later get a call from 0873107393  and 0873107392 the same results = you can hear theres a background noise like in a call centre on all nrs. you can hear someone breathing ,but not talking back to you then they hang up.
This is very irritating as you got work to do and cannot sit sometimes 3 -4 times during working hours to get calls from the same poeple or person.
more furstrating fact is howcome no one can get hold of the people or company to whom this nrs.is registerd to. This is a total joke that no one (telkom,vodacom ect) cannot assist their paying users to cancel or delete these nrs from their systems.

I got a call from 0310011004 but the number don't exist and they said they offer rtewards with vodacom but the are criminals

Why do we get the call? Im gettin freaked out here and when I call it dont go through as soon as I responded with hello they hung up..scary really. And also this number 0873107393, why ppl..im angry and pissed and scared and annoyed..

I also started getting calls from weird numbers - contacted my cell phone service provide, who told me these numbers do not exist, and without existing phone numbers they cannot block them.  Just quit answering, ignore the calls, until our cell phone companies get up to scratch!

I got a call from 0310011004 twice now but wen u answer they jst hang up I'm getting scared I wonder where do these scams got my numbers they so irritating nd wen u try 2 fone them back the number doesn't exist at all
