I got a call from this number on 6/08/2012 and someone left a message but it sounds like a car radio or something on the back ground! when you call back it says subscriber not available and from telkom its just beebs!! Irritating

I got the same. I answered and no one was on the other side.

another apparently crooked operator, all seem to come out of 031 code area

They said they were from Vodacom...

What's interesting is that they knew how many phones I had and first phone I bought and most current. My ID number, my area, my home phone number. They said they would deposit R10000 into my account but I needed to supply my bank details. They would reimburse airtime as well monthly. They even have access to what airtime I purchased and when.

@ Steven- this number has been bothering me the past month, even got a call this morning and it went to my voicemail.

I have had numerous calls from this number , when I answer they hang up

this number has phoned me three times in the past 24 hours and there is no-one on the line

I got a call from this no and they  said they're doing a survey for vodacom.When they asked for my id no i got suspicious and hung up.

I have been getting calls from this number and when i do get around to answer it, there is no one on the line.
I just ignore the number now but this has not stopped them from calling, they are persistant !!

It is very irritating and probably a new scam they using to gather personal information for identity fraud.

yup. I keep getting calls from these 031 numbers. 10 in the last 2 days. very irritating indeed. I answered and kept quiet. they eventually hung up without saying a word.
I wil probably end up opening ANOTHER case of harrassment at the local police station. In the last 2 years I have had numerous fraudulent calls and midnight harrassment from blacks claiming to know me.
I now have a call blocker app that filters all numbers that is NOT on my call list. No more annoying promotional recordings, No more phantom calls and no more fishing calls. Bliss. It is an android free app called NQ call blocker. Get it. it works!

i got a call from this number on 18/04/2013 when i tried to answer they hung up

Got a call from this number(19-04-2013), but its just buzzing me and nt really calling, before i got buzzed from this one i got another call earlier on the same day from 0873104296.....i think there is some relation between these numbers, not sure if blocking them is a solution though, cause if they have my number, i wonder what else do they have.

They(Indian women) are after confirmation of -who you are(name), -what phone, -what cell number They already know a lot about all of the above and more. I asked why they call and they said it is a Vodacom courtesy call. From 031 Durban? I think they are either spam generators or Simcard swappers! Phone your bank

Got a missed call from this number on  (09-05-2013) when i call i cant get to it earlier i got a missed call from 087 310 4296 when i call same thing cant get through ,i think these two number are connected who ever does this should stop.

For the last 5 days I have received two calls from this number. When I answer I hear nothing and the call ends after 5 seconds.

I got a call from this number but these gys are not talking, i feel its a scam ---- ignore these people

This number contacted me at least 15 times and when I try to phone back it's a long engage tone.

M getting the calls from this number bt nobody is talking

Tis number keeps phoning me... But when you call back the line is engaged
