This is not a scam and where a client gave up fraudulent details over the phone when he opened an account and forfeit to pay the outstanding account it is the service providers right to lay fraud charges at the SAPS.

Why break the law and blame some one else.

Grow up pay your sex chat line account it is you that picked up the phone, phoned the lady, lied about your details, got caught with your pants down and now you cry scam and fraudsters.

I wonder how many parents and partners just look the other way, this is the reason we have so many juveniles in jails........... please talk to your kids, don't just brush it of the company is wrong I am so glad they called me and told me so I can educate my son.  I thought about this and after deliberating I have decided to pay them........This is my reason why. The company did nothing wrong the lady asked him what is his name and is he over 18 he decided and made a choice to lie, if I let him get away with this what will be next drugs murder no I am paying the account and he will pay the money back. No more internet with out parental supervision, his cellphone got taken and replaced with a cheap Nokie that can only call out, receive calls and sms. No more friends who's parents I do not know personally and he is grounded till end of the year.

I was furious then they called and sms me, and I just went home and started thinking........did things get so bad in our country regarding work that lady's started this business to support there family's. Now my son phones lies and basically cheats them out of there time and money. The time she spend with him on the phone she could have gotten a call from a client that would be able to pay and that did not break the law. My son was wrong and he will be punished by me his parent not by the government in jail.

We as parents are according to the laws of nature responsible for our children's actions till they are adults and it is our jobs to teach them what is wright and wrong, if we teach them you can break the law and fraud people and company's out of money are we not teaching our kids to become criminals because it is ok to do so because mom swore the lady and told her she is dirty and a scamster. Mean time the truth is I lied about my name surname and my age and stole her time and money.

I look at all the answers on the websites so we as a society can commit crimes and steal each others money and just look the other way....no wonder South Africans are starving and this country is going down the drain.

I will start educating my son today and maybe when he is grown and I am old we will have fixed the wrongs in this country.

I received the following email and my son is 19 years of age and the recordings they have is him on the line and yes he did lie about his details, What must I do my friend told me to pay.

The account was opened on the 12/06/15 at approx 12:11:49 file ref: 22958

With our investigation it has come to light Mr.------------------ made this calls from your home telephone number that is Rica'd in your name Mrs. ------------------without your knowledge or permission to open an account with fraudulent details with the intend not to pay this account.

The Rica law was implemented in July 2011. The aim of this legislation is to help law enforcement agencies to identify cellphone users and track criminals using cellphones for illegal activities.

In this case using a Cell phone/landline numbers and opening an account with false and fraudulent details and agreeing to the terms and conditions with the intend not to settle the account.

I called a number I got on an ad site and a lady picked up and as the conversation started i noticed it was a sex chat line (i probably dialed a wrong number) but i didn't hang up immediately so i kept listening (silly me) she said somethings which I didn't hear very well cos the connection was a bit ruffled and she asked my names and date of birth date which I didn't give her my real details cos i being protective not to give my details to the wrong people. then she started with the sex talk and after about 10secs my airtime ran out and the line dropped.

Now today i got a phone call from +270311013203 a lady on the other line said somethings i didn't quite understand asking me about a call that was made from my line and I couldn't remember so she played me a recording of a conversation and I remembered making that call.  Then she said I owe them money and I refused to pay that they are giving me until today to pay up else they will take legal actions (that scared me a bit).

So i told her to text the details. Then an sms came in from a different phone number (+27725987935) with banking details belonging to 'Social Network' directing me to pay 'Hot Live Girls' for a sex chat i had on 07/08/2015 an amount of R 1,560.00.

Then It dawned on me I had caused a great deal of trouble. Then I called the lady back on +270311013203 and told her i had no idea i owed that much for a call that lasted about 30secs That's just outrageous!! I dont even have that kind of money.

Then she said i defaulted on payment which was supposed to be 100rand in 72hours but i was just hearing that for the first time i didn't even know i was supposed to pay R100 within 72hrs for some silly mistake i made by not hanging up when i realized i had dialed the wrong number.

If i was supposed to pay why didn't they contact me with banking details sooner so i could have paid the  R100 (for my silly mistake) . Then she started yelling at me that they are taking legal actions. I was just so angry and confused at the same time.

So i pleaded with her to give me till monday to come up with the money and they should put their legal actions on hold. so she said i have till 10am on monday that i should email the payment slip to socialnetwork@live.co.za.

Now I am confused cos i know i can't even come up with half the money by monday. But the threat about the legal action worries me.  kindly advise.

Their service is not done properly and i think its targeted ripping people off. they could have contacted me earlier within the 72hr time and I would have made amends for my silly mistake. But they didn't. Now they are threatening me with legal actions cos they have my recording as evidence to tender in court. I don't even have money to pay or to even get a lawyer. This is Just messy!

I know these guys are scammers, but I paid just to get them off my back...
Dies anyone maybe know where they get their info from, cause just from my tel number, they got my ID, my ex wifes ID, my last dialed numbers, and everything.

I did some digging and on google I found these sites on the telephone number  031 101 3203 800notes.com so I googled the name Social Network the same sites popped up. Then I found these sites http://www.ecr.co.za/post/hot-talk-lands-teen-in-hot-water/  Social network is no scam. I would rather consult a lawyer and ask my lawyer to contact them.......

Why should we go to an unknown site based in New Zealand?
