Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I answered a call from this number. They claim to be doing a motor vehicle survey. Does not sound legit.

I received the following scam alert from my insurance brokers:

According to the South African Insurance Crime Bureau, a syndicate of individuals are stealing the cars of innocent victims where vehicles are booked in for service or repairs at a dealership.
It is unknown whether the vehicle is targeted in the workshop to ensure a complaint is logged or whether the suspects act on random complaints logged by vehicle owners. Once the vehicle owner logs a complaint, he receives a call from the suspects posing as the Customer Service Manager or a member of the Service Team. The suspect arranges for the vehicle to be collected and it is then stolen.

Hi. Did you get the name of the insurance company that issued the warning? I'd like to check if they have any cases open and find out who the investigating officer is. We also had a call and I've  just bought a new car. There's  clearly a leak in the system.
